In my experience, computer shell cases don’t actually do much other than protect against scratches, smudges, etc. This is exactly what I was looking for - a case that actually protects against falls instead of a shell that only protects against the superficial stuff. The case is made really well and fits my 14” mbp perfectly. Zero issues opening/closing or port access. It does not add a tremendous amount of bulk but does add a tremendous amount of protection. Think otterbox for your computer. The black is perhaps darker than I thought but it’s nothing to complain about. Still looks honestly really nice. I’m very happy I found this case. Recommend.

Wow. After many laptops and several permutations of various ‘shield protectors’ this product makes the mark. It was a quick installation a very sure fit and the milling is precise.Now, i feel my laptop is well protected.

I was skeptical at first but this is a very durable, light weight, and looks clean. Had this for over a year with no issues!

When I bought my Mac I bought this case with it thinking I would need one. But now that I've used the Mac for a couple months I ended up taking the case off. It seems to add too much weight and pulls top half back a bit more and I'm afraid it will wear on the hinges over time. It also doesn't completely shut when it has both the top and bottom cover on causing dust and whatever else to seep in. If you want a case, go for it. But also if you treat it like the expensive device it is you may not need the case as much as you think you do. I may just get an extra sleeve for it for when I am traveling.

The material is slightly flexible so its not like usual plastic hardcases that tend to shatter and crack (personal experience). This one will be resistant to bumps and impacts. It also looks great and fits perfectly on a MBP M1. Buy it.
