Broken RJ45 Connector Solution (10 pcs: Assorted Colours of Black/Silver/Blue/Yellow/Clear)

This seriously saved me a headache. If this didn't work I'd have to replace a cable that was 25m going through a ceiling and behind several full shelves and under a large cabin bed. It would have taken a lot of time and energy. This I clipped it on, I was a little confused at first because it didn't look like it was on properly, but I thought might as well try plugging it anyway, I've never heard a more satisfying click in my life. Works fine and much easier than replacing a whole cable. Would recommend, this is going in my box of spare IT parts for sure.

These 3D printed clip-ons will work for most Ethernet cables. The exception would be those cables with rubber moulded ends, which you would have to cut away with a craft knife. These are especially useful where you have long cables routed and the alternative requires the crimping tools plus training to fix. I’m pleased to see these are now on Amazon. A packet of these will always find a use. Recommended.

Not perfect,but works...

Works really well on my broken RJ45 connector. That lead used to keep disconnecting, and it was tricky to replace as it's a long one that runs through the house. Since fitting this I've rummaged around numerous times under my desk and not noticed a single network dropout.

What a great invention! Has rejuvenated and allowed continued use of many CAT leads that had lost their flimsy plastic locking tag. Simple but perfectly effective!

Great product. A bit pricey but way simpler than replacing a connector - especially when the cable is in use. Quick, simple, effective.

L'avantage, c'est que la forme de ce clip ne se raccroche pas, contrairement à la languette d'origine. On entend bien le clic. se met et s'enlève facilement. aucun souci, c'est exactement ce qu'il fallait.

Funciona muy bien pero hay que saber que existen muchos distintos tipos de enchufes tipo RJ45 y que funciona igual con todos. De los mios hay un tipo que funciona perfecto, uno que es demasiado delgado y la mayoría que necesitaban una adaptación pequeña. Al final funciona con todos y lo bueno es que nunca va a romperse más.

Works great! I had a broken RJ45 at the end if 100 ft Cat6 cable snaked through my basement and garage to the far end of the house. Was causing a lot of reliability problems as the connector no longer “clicked” and would unexpectedly fall out of the router it was connected to. Since rewiring the long cable would be a project I didn’t want to just replace the cable as I would if it were a short patch cord. Also didn’t really want to have to rewire a new RJ45 connector to the cable as I would have had to purchase a crimper or get a tool-less connector. Anyhow I didn’t want to disturb an otherwise perfectly functioning cable. So these RJclips were the perfect solution and worked beautifully. Had to cut back the snag free hook on the existing cable to fit the RJClip but this was easy and then got the satisfying click of a solid connection that wouldn’t pull out.

Mithilfe kann ich nach wie vor mein altes und defektes LAN Kabel nutzen. Sehr praktisch diese kleinen Helferlein. Kaufempfehlung.
