Better than Fram, But Installable in my 2011 Taurus
This filter actually fits both my 2011 Taurus and my mom's 2013 Explorer, so I'd bought this one and one from Fram. I was expecting good things from Fram and wondered about this one. In reality, the Fram filter wasn't even put together right, had glue coming out beyond the edges, so it wouldn't fit at all. While it was a pain, this filter did make it into my 2011 Taurus. Install was NOT a problem of the filter, but a problem with Ford. Sure seems like if Ford expected people to change a filter they could make it more accessible, and make it possible to move items out of the way of the enclosure. Filter was the right size, unlike Fram was in an actual rectangle rather than a parallelagram (or maybe trapezoid). I did manage to twist and flex it to get it into the slot, so I'd call it a success. Cabin air smells and tastes clean. With the high PM 2.5 lately due to Canadian fires, I think it had a very good test. Outside the car, eyes burn. Inside, everything is good after a bit, so I'd call this filter as very successful. Recommended but not sure I recommend attempting to change these. Automobile manufacturers really need to have better design so they are capable of being changed. There's nothing that MotorbyMotor could do to improve the installation. It's all because of your vehicle manufacturer.

Easy to install
This filter was very easy to install on my Chevy Cruze. Saves a lot of money having to get this changed at the auto shop. When doing an old change, most auto shops will be a free inspection and they will point out when your car filters need replacing. Just go online and buy this if you ride in a car that uses these filters. It is very easy to install. Watching a youtube video is you you need to change the car filter. No screws needed to change this on my Chevy Cruze.
