Perfect for clay molds!!!
The perfect solution for mold making!!! I needed a small amount of silicone to make tiny molds and this product worked up very quickly and did the trick. You will not be disappointed. :o)

Good stuff!!!!!
I almost gave this a 1 star and a bad review, BUT turns out I was the PROBLEM!!!! The first time I mixed it, I mixed more than what was needed. This made it hard to get out what I was trying to copy. It also created some very unwanted air bubbles and not to mention WASTE!!!! I retried it and used a much thinner covering. This did away with the air bubbles and made removing the casting a lot easier!!! I say if you want to try it, maybe mix a small amount and see how it works!!!!

Good quality mold making putty
I needed to make a resin copy of some trim on something that was far too large to submerge in a traditional silicone mold making kit, and this product worked to make my mold and was easy to use. I did have a few bubbles where the putty did not entirely conform with the contours of what I was molding, but these defects were small and easy to deal with (i.e. by putting some clay into those holes before pouring epoxy into the molds). It only takes about 20min for this stuff to work but I was afraid to remove the mold that fast and simply let it do its thing over night and made the mold before I went to bed. Very good quality product and I will be using it again.

Made pointe shoe inserts, worked surprisingly well.
Generally easy to mix and work with, does not stick to skin but will stick to and stain fabric. Starts to dry in about 5 minutes when exposed to air, but takes much longer in an anaerobic setting, about 45 minutes to an hour to fully cure. This is by no means the intended purpose of this product, but it worked quite well for it. And it’s enough to make several sets for a reasonable price. Through trial and error, I figured out that it does require the structure of 2 separate socks to really be effective and otherwise they fall apart in the thin spots where very little material is needed (I used an inner sock that has individual toes and a thin outer sock). For any other dancers, here’s a how to make:Warm up feet, then put on the toe socks,Mix the putty (do only enough for one foot at a time, the mixture becomes unworkable much more quickly when exposed to air), surround the toes with the putty putting some between each toe. If you need enough for an alignment spacer, I suggest mixing a small portion first and doing the spacers, and letting them dry slightly for about 4 minutes before mixing and applying the rest.Place the outer sock over the putty, and then a plastic bag or 2 over top so it doesn’t get in your shoes.Put your shoes on and gently work through them on flat and releve until they are dry which takes about 45 minutes to an hour inside shoes.Remove and trim excess material, then use in class. Learned the hard way, don’t take your shoes off too early. Also pay very close attention to proper alignment while they dry or they will be unusable. The blue will leave stains on your shoes and clothes if you aren’t careful.Final note: once dry, the material flexible where it is thin, but has very little give/cushioning.. They work well for aligning toes and filling in the negative space of the box, it makes alignment but easier and protects well from blisters, but I found it works best in tandem with either a foam or gel pad at the tip of the shoe for slight cushioning when up. (If so, fit with the cushions in place.)

Cool new hobby!
It's great stuff! If used wisely you can make quite a few molds for small items. One pound is plenty enough for jewelrymakers and most hobbyists. It's easy to mix, easy to shape, and easy to mash onto items to mold them. It's a very forgiving material that allows mold-making to be a casual hobby. It doesn't stick to skin very much, and it's easy to scrape and clean up even with bare hands. After mixing the putty, you get about 3 minutes of normal working time and then maybe 5-8 minutes to fix mistakes. You can also use a nonstick material like burnished wood to flatten areas and fix edges when necessary. Today is my first day using it and I've made 5 molds throughout the day. I found that an exacto or scalpel knife blade is outstanding for trimming the excess material from these molds. Use your thumb to push/roll the excess away from the mold cavity, then slice it off. This thin, folded rubber won't resist your blade at all so you can make amazingly precise cuts.In my photo I showed how many grams it took to make each mold. (I found that a good rule of thumb is to make the backing have 2-3x as much mass as the initial layer. Use pinches to blend the layers into one solid mass.) Since taking the photo, I've filled every mold with more of the silvery epoxy. Can't wait to see the results! The first two molds, I poured epoxy into them within 20 minutes of demolding the original items.Through time, I will research this material more and try to answer the following:1. How much heat can it take?2. How does it work with mold release spray?Overall, it's super fun and well worth trying!UPDATE: A few days later, I have an answer for the 2nd question. Mold release spray hardly seems to make any difference. But I also have some advice. You should wash and dry these molds before using them for the first time. If you don't, the oils from the silicone putty might get into your epoxy. This is especially noticeable for small or thin items. The epoxy items cast in these molds were flexible like a gummy. After a few days they did fully harden, but it was a bit nerve-wracking to wiggle them out of the mold without bending or breaking them. I imagine this leftover silicone oil is also why people have problems with UV Resin. So, wash the molds!

Doesn't hold shape, takes forever to dry.
When they say flexible, expect extremely soft flexibility. If you're trying to make something thicker, it'll flatten itself out, spread itself out, intake up to 2 hours to fully cure. To test it, I rolled it into a small ball. However, it would NOT roll into a ball, it was just too soft. I can role Play-Doh into a ball simply. This is like thick glob. I tried everything, but it would not keep its shape. I finally set it on the counter, watched it flatten itself against the countertop, and over an hour later it finally fully dried. I had a half flat, half completely-misshapen ball. This "test" was smaller than a quarter to begin with. After it finally settled, funky shaped, and fully dried, it was much larger than a quarter.Just as bad, it leaves your hands covered in grease. So disappointing. But, if you don't care about any of that, it does dry hard.I'm returning it.

Great product, when it comes new
I've ordered several sets of these and I really like the product. It's very easy to work with and the molds hold up well for pouring multiples. The problem is, the last few times I ordered, I received a set that had clearly been previously opened, used, and returned. This is unfair to the company to eat the cost when people are being dishonest. I needed more for a time sensitive project, but received 2 used sets, and now it is too late. I'm very hesitant to order through Amazon again.

If you are accustomed to working with mold products it seems fine
In all truth, I’m not sure I should be rating this. I am a complete novice when it comes to using silicone molds. My lack of experience, I’m sure, I had a great deal to do with not giving a better review. The instructions were clear, the product arrived on time, and it did what it was promised it would do. I found it to have a weird kind of greasy feeling. It was a little bit tricky, but I got what I needed from it.

Homemade silicone moulds, fast!
Wow I've been trying all kinds of products but this actually works. It's a putty so you can form it around the detailed bits you are moulding. It is a putty so it's not liquid like others and the model doesn't sink into the silicone. I love it and will definitely buy again.

Geniales Material um Konturen abzunehmen!
Lässt sich supereasy verarbeiten um Konturen abzunehmen! Sehr gutes Produkt!

good value
a good price for a good product. Not as flexible as some, but this is the only two part putty I have come across which allows a mend to be made with another small mixing of the putty to seal a split, and blends right in.

Buen producto, rendidor.

Excellent for moulds
I had a novel project: I was missing one of the wrought iron heads on my new-to-me Victorian railing. I bought this putty, set it around an existing head, and let it cure for 2-3 hours. The mould worked perfectly and I was able to make a near-exact copy of an existing head. The railing looks perfect. This is a quality product able to tackle complex and difficult tasks.
