Sm'D Rock Climbing Carabiner

Keeps me safe and I love the size and color! The triple locking action is a plus too!

Bought to use for tree work. I climb trees in a notch sentinel black saddle. I liked the design and construction of this carabiner. Triple locking, high strength, ansi safety rated. I think it's smaller in overall size than the petzl William but that didn't matter much to me. After close to a year of use it doesn't even look worn at all. Glad I purchased.

Erik Virgin’s 1 star review is BS this is a triple lock. In order to open it you need to push it 1. UP 2. LEFT TWIST 3. INWARD Standard double locks are only left twist inward. This is a great beaner!

Its worked flawlessly and I havent died or killed anyone yet. So I count that as a win for this product

It's a little odd sliding the lock upward, but that also makes it feel safer from accidental open.

Slightly larger than a standard black diamond wire gate. No doubt I always trust Petzl equipment. I use these for building rock climbing anchors and they work great. I was kindof looking for one of those thick burly tri lock biners that they have in the gym. These are significantly less burly but I really have no complaints.

Could just be my poor technique with the Mammut belaying device but it’s just easier to descend climbers without losing control with a thicker carabiner

I’m using it for the removable end of a short bridge on my tethered phantom for SRT climbing. Works great.

La triple acción del mosquetón es genial y el color negro es hermoso. Un mosquetón ligero y con orificios para amarrarlos y evitar caídas. No solo es funcional si no que es estético ligero con la garantía de la calidad de productos que PETZL ofrece.

Au depart je trouvais que le prix c’etait vraiment abusé mais j’en suis tellement satisfait que je l’ai vite oublié. Je m’en sers surtout pour mettre mon trousseau de clées et l’attacher à mon jean. Le systeme d’ouverture je pensais que ce serait tres chiant mais en realité on prends tres rapidement l’habitude que je l’ouvre tres rapidement avec une main. Fermeture automatique, un regal. Le mousqueton est tres solide, il peut meme servir de poing americain sauf si vous avez de grosse main comme moi, mais la majorité des gens n’ont pas mes mains. Au pire avec votre trousseau de clée ça fait un mini-fleau. ^^ Et enfin je ne doute pas du tout son efficacité si vous vous en servez juste pour de l’escalade.

Ce mécanisme est vraiment très rassurant et le mousqueton en noir est très beau. Il est plus petit que le Vertigo de la même marque. Par contre je le trouve assez difficile à ouvrir d'une main à cause de mouvement nécessaire sur les trois axes pour l'ouvrir.

Mousqueton fonctionnel, sécurisant (3 point sécu) et plutôt jolie
