A great alcohol clearing filament for 3d printing
Been really happy with this filament so far. Prints come out clean with good layer consistency, and the surface finish after smoothing looks fantastic. It gives parts a much more polished and professional look compared to standard PLA. Fed through my printer without tangles or jams, and dialing in settings was pretty straightforward. Great option if you want display-quality prints or smoother finished parts without a ton of sanding work. Great value for the money but be careful as it has a high moisture absorption - drying is a must. No tangling with this one. Have heard it glows in the dark but I don’t think it does.

My favorite costume filament!
I absolutely love polysmooth filament! It Prints exactly like PLA, and doesn't take anything special, just some 95%+ isopropyl to smooth it significantly. For colors, the red looks a little more orange than red, until you smooth it, and it goes back to a sort of bell pepper red. White (and red actually) is a tad translucent at only two walls thick. Grey is definitely more blue than grey. It works great in the Bambu AMS and the multicolor printing doesn't seem to bleed much, if at all, when smoothing. It's definitely my preferred filament for all finishing cosplay applications, because I can skip bondo and filler, as long as you print with at least three walls thick, it's pretty hard to sand through the layers. Joining pieces is pretty easy too, because you can make a sort of 3D gloop out of scraps of filament and some alcohol. Turn it into a paste, wipe it on and let it dry and then sand and smooth as normal! This stuff is really just a better version of ABS, as long as heat tolerance isn't your main concern (again, it melts at a normal PLA temperatures)

Killer looking but do not try to bond it to other types of filament
This stuff is really cool and is clear and does print smooth. You do not want to try to bond it to other types a filament that require durability, as a solo its pretty cool.

Cool product, tricky to make clear
This works very well, and is a little tricky to make really clear. I over applied the alcohol on my first print and it totally melted. On its own it works very well and makes a translucent print. It sometimes makes tiny bubbles in the print.

Prints like PLA.
For the mostpart, using PLA print settings will usually work, and the fact you can just smooth it out with isopropyl alcohol definitely makes it a visually appealing filament, but, remember, that very same dissolving and smoothing effect, is great for making plastic welds without inhaling burning plastic fumes.

Pretty cool filament - when used right
I’m loving this filament. I don’t have the “polysher” so I submerse 3D printed object into IPA for a minute (depending on how smooth I want it), and it works really well. Since price is lower than when it started, I think it’s a pretty good deal. Just make sure that you keep either use right away, or have a filament dryer, since it’s prone to moisture.

So brittle it’s unprintable
I tried using this for support material for PLA on my prusa XL5t. I had tried a roll of tronxy pva, which started very brittle and stayed that way despite days of drying and careful storage. For the first 3 prints this PVB worked great. After that i can only get about 1/2” height into a print before the filament breaks in the extruder and stops feeding. I tried reducing the pressure on the filament to the point i could pull it backwards, with no change. This roll has either been under vacuum with 50g of new silica gel, or in my sunlu s4 at 50C since i opened the factory packaging. Hygrometer in the vacuum bag has remained at 15% the entire time. This is the first time polymaker has let me down.

Tangled spools. Crappy prints
Filament isn’t too bad but dry before use. It is also wound on the spool terribly. It had multiple tangles through out the entire reel. This caused layer shifts every time it kinked and pulled on the motor. So it basically ruined everything I printed with it. Haven’t even started trying to vapor smooth yet because it’s really not worth the price for these problems. I’ll just buy ASA OR ABS and vapor smooth.

Make sure you have a dryer
I've been experimenting with it past few days. It's the best transparent FDM print I've ever had after IPA polishing, shows a lot of promise. After polishing it feels more like TPU than PLA, a bit floppy in thin layers. Video/images are of a single 0.56mm layer and a 1.12 double layer print. I've polished them on toothpichs which they've fused onto, so it might make sense to design your print with some ears on which you can dry the model and later cut off. You must have a filament dryer, even if it's a DIY one on the printer heatbed. The filament came perfectly dry, and printed perfectly on my first attempt. 2 days later when I tried another print it was suddenly bubbling like crazy out of the nozzle. Put it back into the dryer at 55 degrees Celcius for 4-5 hours and it printed well after. Make sure to keep it at a very dry place with lots of silica gel, or be ready to run a drying cycle every time you want to print something. That's the life with PVB I guess.

Prints OK and completely dissolves (I left it over night and had just water left in the tray I used).

Bonne qualité, mais pas transparent
Je cherchais un filament pour imprimer une partie transparente. Mais c'est trop opaque. la lumière passe mais on ne voit rien. C'est peut-être la nature du filament PLA qui est en cause.
