Godox 420LB Light Boom Stand with Weight Bag, Size- 13.8'

I am a professional photographer. So I use a lot of lighting stands of various types. I had one boom stand from Adorama "Flashpoint Pro Air Cushioned Heavy Duty Boom Light Stand - 13' " which I like very much. I do trust the Godox brand and decided to try this stand. ( I needed 2 boom stands ). What I did not like was the tilt locking mechanism. The mechanism has one tightening screw which controls the angle of the boom and the amount of extension of the boom. So if you loosened that mechanism BOTH would move. This is very NOT helpful when you are setting up the stand and trying to get it balanced and controlling the direction of the light. This tightening mechanism also has "teeth" to assist in the locking of the boom. I had to loosen the teeth a lot to change the angle, then again everything would move. I gave this 3 stars. The build quality was satisfactory as I expected. So I returned the purchase and bought a 2nd stand like I already had.

It’s a good boom, wish there were independent adjusters for the main pivots length and rotation. But aside from that, is it’s a great stand.
