Fresh air is good for you; create a gentle, refreshing breeze while you use your computer with this USB-Powered Fan. The cable is sturdy and flexible, and will hold the shape you bend it into. The blades are soft and won't hurt if you accidentally brush against them. Review: HDE Mini Mobile USB Fan For PC Laptop - It showed 30 day's after I got it .this 2 fans run very fast gives a lot of air flow .the workmanship is standard ,I would not move it around a lot or drop it ,,,it seems that it might fall apart if you do .the bendable part in the middle seems to be put together well .the fan is a little top heavy so getting it into the right form might be annoying a little, lol the is the second type that I bought the first one lasted 4 day's and the fan part , of it all fell apart it seems to have had problems a little fixing and it will be all right ,,,This one I think will be the keeper ,I love the on and off switch =) my only thought bad about it is, it needed priority express ,and not that 20 day's on a boat stuff .use a the air express some how ,I would have paid for it if it was a option ,and second it is not the same model that is in the advertisement ,but I do think this one looks a lot nicer so thank you . Review: Broke after 60 min - Hated it. Unfortunately I didnt use it till after my return time. It worked for about an hour and then shorted out because it got too hot. I try was great, while it worked. Not too loud, moved a fair amount of air too, felt great. Woulda been nice if it worked for longer than an hour though. Middle of a desert is miserable with no moving air.

The price turned me away.
I generally like these fans, the sad part is the shipping is more then the actual fan. I was going to fully stock my house ( About 10 of these ) That would cover, Behind my computer and security box, My two routers, My X-Box, My External HardDrive ( Gets too hot ) But because I didn't want to pay $20 in just shipping, I only bought three more than the two I had. After awhile these fans got extremely loud, it turned out to be, every time someone bumped the blades as they were spinning, it moves it down the track a little bit. I just noticed that you can adjust these by sliding the blades one way or another, which in a sense, quiets it down ( Less work for the motor by making the blades more flat ) or turn it up all the way, which is what I was doing by accident. ( Made the blades uneven and causing the motor to be unbalanced. ) Ignoring the price, I was overall happy with these. Except for the one that broke. ( Being replaced for free )

Very packable, and sturdy body.
I packed this fan with me and used it in conjunction with a 32k mAh backup battery. It traveled very well in a toiletry bag while in my packs on flights from NC to California and back. I used it every day and night for a month and a half. never using more than a quarter of the 32k mAh in a day's use of approx 15hrs of run time per day. It has adjustable blades for more or less air, and a sturdy body/adjustable neck that stays in almost any configuration. As you can see from my pictures, it has taken a beating. I'm a very big fan sleeper and this definitely did the job during the night and kept.me cool during the 100 degree days

Loud, limp, not durable
For occasional heat relief, fine. It was all right in the amount of air it expends. Otherwise, it was hard to aim b/c the metal gooseneck is a bit limpish and the USB didn't stick tightly in port. It buzzes; the fan is a cellophane like figure 8. And after two or three months of 1-hour use about 3 days a week, it just kinda sputtered on and off over a half-hour until the cap flew off and the thing fell apart like humpty dumpty. (it does not provide enough power to have made the cap a dangerous projectile). Am going to spend $15-20 on the 6" metal USB fan my co-worker has that is traditional-looking mini wire fan, sits on desk and has on/off switch. It's really quiet and delivers a decent light breeze.

Nice Option for Fresh Air Flow
Nice for soft air flow wile using computer, doesn't flip papers and yet gives needed cooling close up. Easy to plug into computer, easy to adjust gooseneck but is frail and requires careful use. Worth a try.

All I want is one of these stupid USB fans that is quiet
Incredibly loud, louder than any fan in my desktop itself, and for how loud it is, it makes next to no airflow. The blades of the fan are basically grocery bag material and come bent. All I want is one of these stupid USB fans that is quiet, makes no vibrations and blows a very small amount of air. They all seem to be incredibly fast, when in reality none of these tiny things will push any reasonable amount of air, no matter how fast it goes, so why not try and make it quiet? A 120mm desktop fan is quieter than this and blows x4 as much air, while probably taking up less power too.

This thing really blows...and QUIETLY.
Okay, I should have said, This device moves an impressive volume of air and at a very reasonable volume, but would that have caught your attention? Seriously: for my front mounted USB port, it is perfect as a little booster to keep me cool, or more often, I use it move air across USB hard drive enclosures. The better the cooling, the better the performance (at least with most computer hardware), so this is excellent. Enclosures that were getting to the coffee cup warmer stage are now cool to the touch, even after running all day. Younger people and those with otherwise good hearing might find it noticeable, but deaf people like me who are usually listening to music through earbuds or who's co-workers are noisy, chatty Kathies won't notice it at all.
