Best value for the money
This is NOT a “cheap” tent even though it is inexpensive. This tent gives you materials and features of a big brand tent. It’s VERY lightweight, durable, very water resistant, made of polyester fabric instead of nylon which is very nice, quality screen and zippers, great tie out points, plenty of space and head room (I’m 5’11”), large vestibules, excellent ventilation, the list goes on. I have used this tent extensively in heavy winds, rain, and snow. It has performed EXCELLENT. Six moon design is doing something right. Keep it up.

Works great even in the snow
Bought this tent to take with me on a backpacking trip in Arizona. Tent was great just as it is advertised. Very light, compressible and easy to setup. On my trip it snowed and had this tent up and slept in on top of 6 inches of snow. LOL. Did have a condensation issue but the humidity was high and cold a the time. Look forward to my next trip with it. Would have given it 5 stars but this can be a bit nit picky, had to buy stakes separately. Figure for the cost they would include stakes.

Great solo tent!
Simple to pitch if you follow the directions on video. First time, it took me 5 minutes to put up and 2 minutes to take down and pack. Spent first night camping in FL and had some condensation which is to be expected here. But the ventilation is superb as well as adjustable when you change height of trekking pole. Also packs down very nice and does not take up much space in the pack. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a trekking pole tent that wants quality without being over priced.

2/6 Moons: Some Good Ideas Undone by Poor Design Choices
I really wanted to like this tent, but unfortunately, several design choices seriously take away from its potential. Let’s start with the positives: The single-pole design is simple and visually clean (although not very quick as there are usually several of adjustments needed and takes some getting used to). I also appreciate the eaves that run along the perimeter (excluding the front). They’re spacious enough to offer some rain protection, and the integrated bug netting provides a decent draft, although I would be cautious in heavy rain in that your base isn’t flooding (it’s been dry for me so far in a good amount of rain) The color is another plus. The light turquoise or pale blue is a welcome change from the usual neon orange tents. **Now, onto the issues—**and there are a few that really hurt the usability of this tent. First, the front zipper doors are far too short—they stop about 10 inches above the ground. This creates a big problem in wet conditions. Even if you pitch the tent with a forward lean, rain still splashes too close for comfort. Not to mention, there’s not where close to enough covered space to keep a backpack or even your boots dry, they have to be brought inside with you and there’s not really enough space for that and it runs the risk of flattening the short trim that keeps the water out, It’s a baffling design oversight, where am I to put my boots and pack? In the car? This is a pack packing tent, it needs to have space to keep a pack by the front door. Another frustrating aspect is that the main tent pole and stakes are sold separately. That’s something they should make much clearer upfront. Even if you have a trekking pole or spare stakes, the lightweight pole they offer (the 49-inch one) doesn't fit inside the tent bag. Seriously—how does that make sense? The tent also seems a bit off in proportions. The included (or separately sold) pole feels a touch too tall, and if the front had a longer eave, you could lean it forward to create a more usable dry zone—maybe even just enough space to stash a pack. Finally, a minor but annoying detail: the bug netting zipper only opens to the right. That means you can't easily access the open rainfly position from inside the tent without crawling out first. It's a small thing, but definitely inconvenient. Bottom line: It’s a cool concept, and I can see what they were going for—but the execution has some frustrating flaws. Personally, I’d recommend skipping this one and going with something from REI or another trusted brand.

Great buy
Great value for an ultralight tent. Sets up best for me when I leave stake straps very loose until treking pole is in place then tighten stake straps. Avoid condensation by leaving door flap open a bit. Awesome tent.

Needs improvement
It’s difficult to feel you have put it up correctly. After watching numerous YouTube videos and putting it up many times I am still not clear. The front door zipper is very hard to zip/ unzip as the front guy wire goes down right in front of it so you have to loosen guy wire every time you go in and out. It is light. I took it backpacking for 4 days - no hard rain so not sure how it does in rain. The floor could use its own tent stake loops to make floor stay put and less wrinkled. There are wrinkles in tent even after tightening.

Light weight tent
Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo Green well designed tent. It's very roomy inside for a one person tent and has quite a bit of air flow. The floor of the tent is very slippery. So you will need to add some dots on the floor of the tent with GEAR AID Seam Grip SIL Silicone Sealan. I bought the the version that you have to seam seal the tent your self. Just make sure you buy the right Silicone Sealant that Six Moon Designs recommends The only con about this tent is the fiberglass pole (you buy separately) it is too short, and you don't get the right pitch of the tent. So you don't get the full rise of the 6 inch side walls (bathtub) of the tent. Just buy a light weight hiking stick and make it about 3 inches taller then the fiberglass pole. This tent does have a bit of a learning curve when setting it up.

河川敷で試し張りをしました。 初めてでしたが数分で張ることができます。 居住空間も広くテント内にバックパックなどの荷物を置いても快適です♪

Wish this has been made clear in the product disclosure. Can’t understand why pegs are not included and it’s an major inconvenience which could have been easily avoided.

99% plus of this tent excellent! Roomy, headroom is great, easy access, very light wieght & easy to pitch. There are 2 negatives for me. 1 the floor is slipery so my sleeping system keeps sliding apart. 2. If you're camping in bug season BUY THE DARK GREEN! I got light grey and went camping in summer. The thrips swarmed thick on the tent. Thank goodness it wasn't mossies. Overall a brilliant tent. I'm very happy with it. I hope Six Moons do something about the slippery floor.

非常に軽く、設営、撤収共に慣れれば2分程度。結露はするけどパックタオル等で拭けば問題なしです。

Unfortunately if you don't buy this tent direct from the manufacturer it isn't waterproof. I found this out the hard way when I took it on a 4 day thru hike recently and heavy rain was involved. I tried to seal the seams myself with a solution I brought from Anaconda but failed. By the last night of my trip, I ended up using an extra tarp/poncho to cover it which helped, but that defeats the purpose of having an ultralight tent. Another con is if you are a cold sleeper be prepared for chilly winds to come in the big gap underneath the door. I will try and find a professional to seal the seams for me here in Australia, and do some tweaking to make sure I don't get the cold wind blowing in before my next hike. Its not really a beginner hiker's tent. If you aren't used to hiking long distance in bad weather conditions, I would suggest getting something with a rain fly and more protection. One pro - it survived strong winds and a hail storm, no tears and the structure remained sturdy.
