When my ac went out I did some research and decided to try this because it’s the most common fix. For under $15 in less than 24 hours, this made my 1995 AC unit work again. It took less than five minutes to actually do the repair. You can imagine how thankful I am on this 90° day but my AC unit is now blowing ice cold air. By far the easiest least expensive repair I’ve ever fixed on my home. Came fast, great quality.

Bought this because my fan stopped starting up by itself. I could persuade it to start if I pushed the blade with a screwdriver so to me that said Capacitor. had it replaced today - the pro who came in informed me this also starts the compressor, which I did not know. live and learn. We'll see how long the one he put in lasts. He said he replaces several a day in his running around fixing stuff in the summer. I bought this in May 2019 according to Amazon, and it's July 2025 so six plus years seems to be pretty good. My AC unit is original to the 1994 house, so it's a workhorse.

Dimensions slightly different than stock capacitor however functionality was identical. Worked as expected with nice labeled connectors. Labeling ensures easy replacement.?I believe this will be durable as it includes a 5 year warranty.
