It's completely hidden.** A: If you look closely, you'll see 1 thread out of alignment with the others, leading toward the bottom of the spool creating a small indentation where it has been tucked. It is harder to find on some colors, and good light helps. Once you find it, just use fingernails, or a sewing pin to pull on that single thread and it untucks easily. **Q: Are there color conversion charts available?** A: Not to my knowledge **Q: Does this Thread have more than 2 colors is it more gradiated with many colors?** A: there are 24 different spool colors. some colors have 2 shades - some have 3 or more. they are called variegated. **Q: Ive always used rayon so what is the difference between Polyester and Rayon and will this work on cotton fabric or do I need fabrics that stretch?** A: You can use this thread on any fabric- I've used it on marine vinyl, cotton, polyester, etc. One difference between this thread and 100% rayon is the thickness, this thread is thinner and will shred on high speed embroidery machines. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Price and Quality. Comparing Embroidex vs Robison-Anton Thread (Picture on top is Embroidex, bottom is Robinson-Anton *by B***S on January 20, 2018* I have used one of the spools. I have a Deluxe Ruby Royale Embroidery machine. I used standard needles not embroidery needles. I compared the two brands and the polyester thread is almost as shiny as the Robison-Anton Rayon 40. The difference is so small that I would still buy the polyester thread and 1/6 of the price. There are only three minor issues that I quickly resolved. (1) The spool doesn't have a snap base so I put a piece of double sided tape inside the spool lip. (2) The thread unwinds the opposite way as the Robison-Anton so I turned it upside down and used a smaller holder. (3) The thread unwraps to quickly and gets tangled, to correct this I used the additional thread holder and looped the thread around the spindle, then it unwound properly. It did not break or shred. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good! *by L***L on July 12, 2017* I've only done two test stitches so far, but I really like the variegated threads in this pack! The thread is sturdy, had no breaks in my PE770 (even in the dense areas of one of the patterns where my machine was complaining a bit). With the right patterns, the results will be stunning - I'm even pleased with my test stitch ups.My only complaint is - the only numbering is on the top (which of course comes off once on machine), not on base - requiring me to use a sharpie to add the color number in case I need it down the road. The thread arrived in a box and each spool shrink wrapped. The sheen of this thread is beautiful and has a nice array of colors. I had zero issues finding the end of the thread, there is a loop knot that easily comes undone. Works great on cotton and has not broken or frayed.
