Effective
No sign of the ants after two applications two weeks apart. I did not know I had fire ants until I got bit and checked our county extension website. It suggested specific ingredients in granular form, not spraying. No odor and keep pets away.

This Amdro used to be in a white plastic container. I thought it was gone forever couple years ago.
Thought I lost my favorite ant killer years ago. Turned out it changed packaging... Tried all season to get rid of the fire ants in my front and back yard, just to have them increase 10 fold. Used this Amdro, that changed packaging, and 4 days later, thousand and thousands of ants are all gone. It was so bad, the street was covered with them too. I thought it was out of control. But not for Amdro. Please don't change the package again.... Thanks.

Great product. I just hope they don't take it off the market!
This is the only ant killer that I have ever used that keeps ants from reappearing for at least a year or more or sometimes 2.

Great! But beware free range chickens WILL eat it!
Works great on ants! But BEWARE if you have free range chickens, they also like it! It hasn’t killed any of my birds but idk how much of it they’ve eaten and if it may later on. Don’t put out while the chickens are out!
