Picked this up for my Canik TP9 Elite Combat and it’s been a great choice. The holster is low profile, well-molded, and surprisingly comfortable, especially considering the larger footprint of the Elite Combat. It hugs the body nicely and doesn’t print as much as I expected for a full-size-ish gun. You might need to loosen the retention screws a turn or two to get a smoother draw, but once dialed in, it locks in with confidence and draws cleanly. While I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday carry due to the Canik’s size, it’s excellent for range use, OWB concealed carry under a hoodie, or even light-duty carry. Bonus surprise: it also fits my Taurus TX22 Gen 2 TORO (non-competition model) really well. Not what I bought it for, but it’s a nice added benefit if you happen to own both. Overall, a great holster with excellent value and versatility. Definitely recommend for the Canik and maybe even your .22 range toys.

Excellent holster! I've tried many, many, many holsters over the years. This is probably the best bang for the buck I've come across. They are well made and use Boltaron instead of Kydex. The biggest difference is Boltaron is much smoother, maybe slightly softer but not by much. Weight is great, fit is as good as it comes, and the clip is pretty good. I look for holsters that cover the mag release and have full sweat shield, these have both! I would put these right up there with Bladetech holsters. I took a Bladetech Teklok and attached it to the CYA, the fit is tight but definitely works well. I also have some Bladetech belt loops that I've swapped the slip for. My 2 suggestions for CYA is offer something other than the clip and get some light compatible holster released. I've bought several for my carry guns.

Great product, works exactly as described. The fit is solid and the retention feels secure without being too tight. Comfortable for IWB carry and optic-ready as advertised. No complaints so far.

I really like CYA holsters. Locks in tightly. Solid build. Sleeker holsters for easier concealment. Easy to holster and unholster firearm. Light weight but solid and perfect fitment.

First, I will say that the fit of the holster to my pistol is decent. It holds it snugly and there is a positive click when holstering into the retention position. It’s also fairly comfortable. I carry at the 4:30 position, and with this holster, it felt pretty good, with no sharp edges or discomfort. With that being said, I was disappointed in two regards. First, and maybe this was my oversight, I though it would have a metal belt clip, but it is plastic. The appearance of the clip in the product photos led me to think it was metal. We’ll see how long the plastic clip lasts before it snaps. Maybe it will surprise me. Second, the holster has a optic cut, and my pistol with Vortex Viper red dot does indeed fit easily into the holster. The issue is that the belt clip is mounted in a location that causes tye from if the optic to snag on or rest on the top of my belt, which is less than ideal. The clip should be repositioned so that there is more clearance for the optic above the belt line. It’s not terrible in my case because I use an optic mounting plate that mounts in my rear sight dovetail, so my optic is farther back in the slide. If I had a more standard optic mounting, such as one mounted on an optic-ready slide that would place it in front of the rear sight dovetail, it would be worse because then the sight would need to fall below the belt line, inside the waistband, when the pistol is fully holstered. I can live with the plastic clip. It’s disappointing, but it appears to work. The clip location for a pistol with an optic is more troublesome. For that reason, I’m not sure if I will keep this or return it and look for a similar holster that has the belt clip positioned better to eliminate the optic snagging issue.

Great product for the price. I would recommend to others. Not a lot of adjustment but you can adjust a little. I'm happy with it. Fits great!

I’ve purchased from this company before and they’ve always made great holsters. Quality is consistent, and their customer service is solid — if there’s ever an issue, they take care of it fast. This holster is comfortable, works exactly as it should, and has a very noticeable positive click that gives confidence the gun is secure. Smooth draw and definitely worth the buy.

I've got to say, this is one of my favorite IWB holsters. For one thing, it fits my Taurus GX4 TORO perfectly. The retention adjustment screw works perfectly, and stays put. It's got adjustment for cant, but I left it the way it was (canted forward). The holster is simple (the way I like it), does what it's supposed to, has the right adjustments, and is lightweight. On another note, I made a mistake ordering mine (I didn't know Taurus made a "Carry" model of the GX4), but Patrick (customer service) tactfully mentioned the one I should have ordered, sent me the right holster, and provided a packing slip to return the wrong one. A great product is one thing, but when you combine it with great customer service, you gain a customer for the next purchase.
