When you place the vacuum into the charger, you have to ensure that the plug makes contact with the battery, it has a tendency to push the plug out of the hole it resides in. When you have the floor attachment connected, the motor seems to hunt wildly for reasons I can't fathom. When using a hand held attachment, that problem does not manifest. I wonder if the floor attachment with its extra power draw is tipping the battery over the edge. The charging indicator does not, indicate, so one only has the knowledge that it has been properly plugged in to know that charing is taking place. Apart from that, it works and elongated the life of the Dyson.
