ProGlide Power Razor for Men, 1 Gillette Power Razor Handle + 1 Blade Refill

My husband’s favorite razor! It leaves him with a smooth and clean shave without any irritation. They are the closest shave I have ever seen him get.

I’ll start by saying that I’ve been shaving for a very long time lol. I’ve spent a fortune over the years trying different razors, handles, etc. I also bounced back and forth between Gillette and other brands due to the cost of Gillette blades and the quality of their shave (cuts/burns). I’m going on a trip in the next couple of days and decided to get a travel razor when I came across this pulsating power razor option and said what the heck, let me give it a try. I’ve been using this razor for a week now (4 shaves in so far) and I cannot believe how much better it is to shave vs. a standard razor! The pulsating action of the blade is actually NOT a gimmick!!! The blade glides across your skin and there is ZERO hair pull as you shave leaving a very smooth finish. It’s really incredible to me! Moreover, the nicks/cuts have gone to almost 0 (and you know what it feels like to spray cologne on a nicked face!). For me, the worst part of shaving is the mustache area, where I get a lot of hair pull and nicks and this razor had eliminated all of it! Buy it, and trust me that you will not regret it!

My version of this razor was nine years old and going strong, but a small piece of the grip started coming off, so I decided to buy a new one. I did research into the fancy Gillette razors, including the heated one, but all reviews indicated that the Pro Glide Power Razor still gives the best shave. So I ordered a new one and am so impressed. The motor vibrates a bit faster than the earlier version, which gives an even closer shave. An the on/off button switches faster and easier, which is great when you have water and shaving cream everywhere and you are trying to switch off the razor while you rinse and lather up for the second and third rounds - the first shave is down and the second and third are at a diagonal. This razor will also shave upwards, against the grain, like a champ, but it can be too abrasive for the skin if you shave up too often, so I don't bother anymore. By the way, when I got the new razor, I was only half way through my current blade cycle, as the blades last me six weeks or about 21 shaves. With my blade on week four, I got a better shave using this new razor than I have ever gotten before, amazing. Hint: To avoid giving yourself a "razor burn" which is really rosacea, use non irritating fragrance free shave cream. There are several out there, my fav is edge gel. Also, use good skin care products afterwards, and fuggedabout aftershave. Use fragrance free moisturizers that feed your skin. And enjoy your Gillette ProGlide Power Razor, it is the BEST!

I bought a different model Gillette Fusion Razor AND FOUND THAT OUT THE HARD WAY!!!! I got on Amazon and QUICKLY FOUND THE EXACT MODEL THAT I HAVE USED FOR 15 YEARS!!!! THE SAME GILLETTE FUSION RAZOR!!!! The Gillette ProGlide Power Razor for Men, 1 Gillette Power Razor Handle + 1 Blade Refill is the EXACT SAME model I had (until it DID FINALLY GIVE-OUT!) and when I received this NEW ONE, HALLELUJAH!!!! I LOVE this Gillette Fusion POWER Razor ("POWER" is the secret word needed to locate this razor!) WITH THE FLEXIBLE HEAD SO MUCH!!!! THANK YOU, AMAZON!!!!

This razor delivers a very smooth and comfortable shave, especially with the powered vibration feature. It glides easily over the skin and helps reduce irritation compared to regular manual razors. Overall, it’s a high-quality razor that performs well but comes at a higher ongoing cost.

Normally, I use the fusion5. For years it has been my favorite razor. I have tried other name brands, but found the only one that doesn’t tear my face apart is Gillette. Recently, I tried to save money and bought an off-brand version of fusion5, but once again I found that there is no replacing the original. So I returned them and decided to try the pro-glide. I didn’t think a better razor than the fusion5 could be possible, but I was wrong. The pro-glide was even smoother shaving. I even feel like it was a closer shave, if it is even possible. Long story short, I am extremely impressed and Gillette comes through again. I am convinced that I have found my new favorite razor.

I accidently bought the large pack of replacement blade from one of the big box stores. I mistook them for the Schick five blade I usually use. I enjoyed those blades for years and never thought to change even though my son uses these blades and insisted I try them. So after speaking to my son I mistakenly bought the replacement blade for Gillette rather than my brand. I usually keep all of my receipts from these big stores but somehow I misplaced it and was not going to throw away nearly fifty dollars in replacement blades. I was going to give them to my son, being he used them, but he had just bought the same package I did. So rather than spend another fifty odd dollars on my regular blades, i decided to give these a try. I'm American born but my family comes from Italy so I can grow a beard in twelveteen minutes after shaving. Plus I shave my head as well. Not daily, but several times a week, now that I'm retired. When they arrived, it had been several days since I had shaved. So I was a bit scruffy to say the least. I don't use shaving cream any more. Instead I use soap. I wet my face then used hand soap that turns to foam when you depress the top of the soap bottle. I lathered up and started to shave. By some accident I pressed some button and the handle began to vibrate, personally I found no distinguishable difference with the vibration on or off. I did however get a close shave. Close enough that I did not have to shave the next day and it looked as if I just shaved. Now I'm no expert, but these are good blades, but so were the other brand that I used to use. Both rate a five at this point, although I haven't used it enough to know how long each blade will last. I will assume that it is or will be similar to the other five blade brands. My only complaint is there is only one row of gel on the blade where as my other brand had a row on top and bottom, however it's not bad enough to detract a star. I recommend this blade and handle. You'll get a close shave and I found it to really give a close shave to my head.

I have always loved my Gillette razors but this one takes it to the next level. Smooth shave, easy to use, vibration to lift the hairs. It is the best shave ever.

I ordered the gilette fusion 5 proglide power but the received item was the gilette fusion proglide, no power option and not the fusion 5 as ordered, this is unacceptable
