I got this for someone who doesn’t enjoy reading yet and she loved this and immediately grabbed a notebook to track her choices so she can know which adventures she already chose. She was really into it and even chose it over a fun movie.

I loved this book as a child. I went through so many copies. No matter how many times I read this, it was never boring. Even now as an adult, it still ranks high on my favorite books.

I read this when I was a kid and picked it up for my step-daughter. She was super into it, just like I was when I was a kid. I ate these types of books up. Glad to pass the torch.

I wanted to try a choose your own adventure with my son, but I was worried about the content. I got him this book for his 9th birthday and he loved it, went through every possible ending and read it to both myself and his father as well. The content was a bit mature for him, so I'm glad I waited. I wish that they made books like this for a younger crowd, I didn't appreciate having to go over leprosy with my son for instance. Overall the book provided the fun we expected from the choose your own genre.

Bought this because I remember reading it as a kid. Wanted to see what my adult self would think up it. It's a nice book, the art is good, came to my house in excellent condition. I won't be buying another book like this one only because I'm not much into kids books. The difference in perspective was interesting and I think it would be nice if there was an adult version of these books.

Kids love these. Fun to read with them. Lets kids feel like they are in control of the story and makes reading so much more fun. We love these books.

My eight-year-old daughter loved this book! I am so glad I got this book! She’s a book worm, so I’m not sure it’s a good fit for kids who hate to read, but maybe if read together with a parent, this would be a good option.

These books are excellent. I bought them for a road trip for my kids and they loved it! It kept them busy for a few hours as they tried all the different options for the story lines.

My daughter says this is really good and fun to read....she also bought one as a gift for her friend. I always loved the 'chose your own' endings when I was younger so thought I'd get one for her and so glad she wasn't disappointed!

I used to read these choose your own adventure books when I was a kid and I loved them. My 9yr old daughter usually considers reading a book as being "homework" so to get her to read anything that isn't on a computer screen is hard! I found her favourite thing at the moment (unicorns) in a choose your own adventure book and got it for her. It was a hit! she enjoyed reading it so much she even took it camping with us to read at night. It got here in good time too so winning all round.

Lovely book, which I greatly enjoyed reading with our 8-year-old girl. Unlike the Montgomery books in this series, this one is actually very well written, and the story flows very well.

This book was a perfect addition to my daughters choose your own adventure collection. She couldn't put it down
