Makes a difference in water flow
Does what it says, relatively easy to install. It really works and was easy to add to my existing seaflo pump

Solved water pump hammer on a boat
Straight forward installation. Decent quality. Solved severe water hammer issue that was noisy and bad for the system. The pump runs less, is quieter and the flow has smoothed out.

4 stars -- so far it does its job
Products/vendors start with 3 stars (average) and go up or down from there. This product loses one star because the threads are not true NPT (like with SeaFlo pumps) and the 2 supplied barb connectors are a length hassle when adding a short piece of 1/2" tubing. A one-piece plastic (flex) connector with 2 compression females on each end (like ShurFlo provides) would have been better, especially if using a matching Seaflo pump, as I am. The accumulator arrived in exactly 7 calendar days (and 5 business days) on standard "free" shipping, so that simply meets expectations -- no added or deducted stars for that. It arrived in a priority bubble wrap envelope inside a blister pack that was cracked; but the product was undamaged, so, well ... kinda petty. This item holds its PSI over 24 hours, even after use -- as it should. It pressure-tested well once the connections were firm. My 30/45 pump actually kicks in at 32 and out at 44 PSI, so my accumulator pressure is set at 30 PSI. FYI, simply checking the air pressure can lower it 2 or more PSI, due to the small air volume inside the little unit, so plan accordingly. The new pressure stem seeped some air at first, but eventually broke-in and held well. Coin-operated, preset gas station air compressors are confused by the little unit's volume, so I recommend a conventional air hose method instead. A snug valve cap is likely important for this unit. The accumulator is added onto a complex 1/4" OD plant container drip irrigation setup with 150 emitters, all stepped-down to 25 PSI (post-pump) using a regulator to protect the emitters from spewing. This accumulator was placed inline to stop the annoying pump stuttering while the lines were filling -- then the constant-on when the lines were filled and dripping. How it does: It slows the pump cut-ins to a reasonable degree, but it isn't astounding, due to the small holding capacity of the .75L "tank." But a bigger tank is space-prohibitive. I'd say it went from stuttering 2-3 times per second to on/off every 1-3 seconds -- and running from 1-2 seconds each time as well; but thankfully, the water-hammering wasn't there, which should alleviate some abuse on the entire system. As an aside, if I lowered the pump's cut-in pressure closer to the irrigation system's 25 PSI operating pressure, it would likely increase the pump's rest time as well. But I'm considering eliminating the semi-redundant pressure reducer instead, as the pump system pressure is pretty manageable anyway and this unit will only help that. I'll experiment with it. As a side note when used in this popular capacity, it is better to use 1/4" push-to-connect OD fittings on the MAIN lines, rather than 1/4" ID interior barb fittings, as this allows the pump and accumulator to operate more smoothly and efficiently with better-distributed flow as well -- and as much as 30 percent time savings too. I hope this review helps you folks.

Biggest luxury bang got your RV buck.
Why every larger Travel Trailer or 5th wheel RV doesn’t come with this standard I’ll never understand. For a little over $50 your pump is half as loud, you no longer have a pulse in your water when you turn it on, and you have better overall experience with your fresh water. My pump was mounted in my basement directly under my master bath/bedroom. Anytime somebody ran water the pump would start blasting. The metal sub floor that it was mount to May as well been in my back tooth it was so annoying. Just putting the accumulator on made the pump have as loud. I then hit a rubber pad and larger rubber grommets from tractor supply. After installing the 3/4” rubble pad I put the grommets under each foot. Then I screwed the pump and accumulator to the rubber pad with 1” stainless course thread screws being careful not to screw in to the wood. After doing this it list the other half of the noise. You can run the shower and the water in the kitchen and you never hear the pump from the inside. If I had to do anything over again, I would have gone ahead and bought the 5.5gpm system instead of just adding in to my 3.2gpm. But I’m new all all it seem is like I’ve been spending money on the RV lately.

Good addition to our camper
I installed this in our camper to keep the demand pump from running as often. I think it cut the pump cycles in half.

Lasted two months past warranty before bursting
This pressure tank worked great all the time I had it, smooths out the pump pulses perfectly. However, this evening I was sitting at the counter top that the pump sits underneath in my RV and started hearing a high pressure hiss. Found out the bladder on the pressure tank just gave way and sprayed water all over my camper. Looks like it's had a slow leak for a little while too so have some mold and water damage to deal with. It did last past the 2 year warranty period but not any longer. I was happy with it during that time but I might look for something with a longer service life next time.
