Iwatani BBQ Grill Plate (Large)

This brand, Iwatani, makes really high-quality BBQ grill accessories, burners, plates, and more. I bought this BBQ grill plate to use with their Iwatani 35FW Single-Burner Butane Portable Cooktop Stove, and I could not be happier with these products. This grill plate is one of the best BBQ plates I've used because of the splatter-free method using water in the bottom tray, and the grooves that let fat flow into the tray and not get everywhere or burn on the grill. The plate itself is very non-stick and durable. I have not had any issues with warping, chipping, or anything else. I also find that this product is easy to put together, disassemble, clean, and store. Overall, I'm very happy with this brand.

It was a prefect plate for Korean bbq but there is something more to be careful on place on the gas, it can be easy to move around if your didn't place the plate secure in the gas oven. I will recommend this but beware to using then. the heat created good taste.

I will say this, instructions say use outside. If this is not under a vent that can really pull, you better be outside. We used it in our enclosed patio, with open windows, still ended up totally smoky. Pretty sure everything might have a coating of grease now. As far as some of the other reviews, not sure if they followed instructions or not, but worked flawlessly. I do have the most powerful Iwatani burner so was turned way down to almost the simmer. Next time definitely outside.

All I can say is PERFECT...got this for a date night for Father's Day and YES it served the purpose. HEATS FAST AND IS PRETTY MUCH NON STICK. EASY TO SET UP AND USE(BUTANE). FEELS SAFE... NO REAL SKILL NEEDED TO SET UP AND GET GOING. GREAT GREAT ITEM.

This one was more durable, solid than one I got from a competitor which didn't last - it rusted right away, was flimsy and all the food charred to a crisp. The Iwatani is thicker and easier to clean.

Good size pan for 3-4 people. It's aluminum with a non-stick coating. Wish they just made a carbon steel version without the non-stick. That's why the drop of 1 star. Overall it works great but still produces smoke even with water in the tray. I have this paired with the Iwatani 35FW stove but it should work with most other cooktops too.

The dome shape is great for fat run-off and makes meat really crispy like pork strips or thin cut beef. So much fat gets rendered away. Very happy to bring the Korean BBQ flavor inside with convenience. It is small but fine for serving 2

Ich habe die Grillplatte gekauf um asiatisch grillen zu können und da ich bereits einen einfachen Campinggaskocher habe, war sie ein nettes Zubehörteil. Die Rauchentwicklung ist sehr gering, weswegen wir sie sogar im Wohnzimmer nutzen (riecht 2-3 Tage nach Grill aber dann ist es weg). Wärmeverteilung ist super und die Platte heizt sich sehr schnell auf und nach Abschalten der Flamme kühlt sie auch zügig ab und man kann sie danach gleich reinigen. Gasverbrauch ist äußerst gering, da die Platte schon bei niedriger Flamme eine hohe Temperatur erreicht. Das Reinigen geht einfach und rückstandslos mit einem Schwamm, viel Seife und wenig Wasser, weswegen wir sie auch zum Campen mitnehmen werden. Bis jetzt hatten wir sie erst zweimal im Einsatz also von daher kann ich hier noch keine Langzeiterfahrungen schreiben, aber nach den ersten zwei Mal nutzen bin ich äußerst zufrieden.

Great pan. Can cook for a family of 4 easily. Great for camping, paired with the iwatani burner. Teflon flakes at high temps (but it can be discarded easily) Looking for a good cast iron pan to use with the burner, but we’ll see
