Designed with a durable powder-coated steel frame and wide-tread pneumatic tires, it’s built to handle demanding terrain while efficiently covering large areas when towed behind ATVs or lawn tractors. Ideal for professional turf management, it maximizes control and consistency, backed by a limited lifetime warranty. ## Description CHAPIN’s 8622B 2.2 cubic feet tow-behind spreader is built for efficient, controlled application across farms, fields, acreage and professional turf. The auto-stop dual impeller automatically stops spreading when the unit stops moving, helping reduce wasted seed and fertilizer, minimize overapplication and deliver more consistent coverage without constantly reaching back to control material flow. Connect it to a standard hitch on a compatible ATV, UTV or lawn tractor and use the 11 incremental gate settings to dial in the flow for your application. A spiked auger helps break up heavier material, while the durable poly hopper, powder-coated steel frame, enclosed bearings and 14-inch wide-tread pneumatic tires are designed to handle demanding terrain. Two hitch pins are included for added convenience. For controlled spreading performance, operate at a maximum speed of 3.5 mph. Not recommended for zero-turn mowers or for use with sand, sand mixes, lime, lime mixes or rock salt. Made in the USA with global materials and backed by CHAPIN’s limited lifetime warranty. ## Features - Reduce waste when stopping: Auto-stop technology stops material flow when you stop moving, helping prevent seed and fertilizer from piling up in one spot - Spread with greater control: Dual impellers help distribute material evenly, while 11 gate settings let you match material flow to the job - Cover larger properties: The 2.2 cu ft poly hopper makes larger lawn and acreage tasks more manageable.
