Quality, durable, lightweight, Samsonite luggage!
Love the color. Got a great deal. These have held up perfectly over the past year to many many trips, TSA, and baggage handlers who treat your items with the utmost care and respect (/sarcasm). Very light weight, so they aren't eating into that 40/50 lb airline weight limit before they steal more of your precious money. Love the simple 3 digit lock code, keeping everyone out of your personal items except TSA and those who can guess your combination of 1-2-3, your birthday, etc.

LOOKS GREAT, BUT NOT YET USED
Just got off a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and decided I needed a suitcase upgrade, as my old 2 wheel duffel would barely close on the contents, returning. The Samsonite arrived intact, big and beautiful, just as pictured. The wheels, locks, extendable handle and zippers all work smoothly, so am good to go. I've read the surface scratches, which is disappointing, but a hard case that doesn't simply does not exist, I think, as the reviews on all the other models noted they did, as well, so just have to live with it, I guess. As long as it remains in one piece, and contains the contents, with working wheels and zippers, I'll be satisfied. The lock system seems a little fragile, just being the zipper tips inserted into holes, with a latching bar running thru it. However, it's not a concern for me, as my duffel had no lock, and I never pack anything other than clothes, toiletries and a book or two, so not a prime target for potential thievery, I think. Overall, I really like it, at this point. I'm hopefully traveling to Kenya in February, and will return to edit this review when I return.

Happy with this set!
We purchased this three piece hard side set to replace an older two piece Samsonite soft side set we’ve had for many years and needed to be retired. We always have had soft side luggage but thought we’d try the hard side version for a change and found this Centric 2 set for what we thought was a pretty good price. On receiving the luggage, our first thought was that the outer hard shell was more flexible than we anticipated and I was skeptical about the durability of the luggage. But all three pieces made their maiden cross country plane trip intact and fairly unscathed. Yes, the luggage had some light scratches and scuffing, but that was minor, and the zippers, wheels, handles all came through with flying colors. I read a couple of other reviews where the zippers were an issue but I think they are pretty heavy duty and we had no issues with them. Same for the wheels. The wheels stick out more than those on our old set but they appear pretty solid and roll like a dream. We stuffed all three pieces full for our trip but really packed a lot in the large suitcase and it was a little tough to close. Not horrendously so but I was concerned about the zipper breaking so I thought it might be a good idea to use the expandable feature. Nice idea, that took the excess strain off of the zipper, but I found that the top flexed way too much and I thought this might create more of a problem when the bag was loaded and unloaded off of the planes. So I zippered the expandable part back up and we made it home without mishap. PROS: We really appreciate the fact that all three pieces fit inside of each other for combined storage, something that our old set couldn’t do. We like the TSA friendly locks and how they are out of the way. The interior zippered compartments are very nice. The wheels, as mentioned earlier, seem pretty durable and roll like a dream. Pretty light weight, no where near as heavy as our old soft side set. CONS: Okay, this is nitpicking, but the outer shell will get scratched and scuffed. Anybody that has flown knows how tough baggage handling can be. And the description does say “scratch resistant” not scratch proof. I thought our bags came through our trip pretty well. Lastly, not that this matters to us but the carry on has a built in charger for phones, tablets, etc. but you have to buy the battery separately. We don’t care and will probably never use it but just letting you know incase you missed that in the description.

Smooth
You know you have quality when you buy a Samsonite. I love traveling with this one because the color is amazing and it holds a lot. Perfect for international traveling. Can last a long time and all the beating it will get while traveling. Good buy overall.

Smooth Travel with a Durable, Stylish Luggage Set
Smooth Travel with a Durable, Stylish Luggage Set This Samsonite Centric 2 luggage set is the kind of travel gear that makes life easier from the moment you leave the house. The hardshell exterior has a clean, modern look and feels strong enough to take the bumps and scrapes of airport handling without looking beat up. After a few trips, mine still looks sharp, and the textured finish does a good job of hiding minor scuffs. The spinner wheels glide smoothly and really cut down on the strain of hauling bags through airports and hotel lobbies. The handles feel sturdy and extend easily without wobble. Both the carry-on and the larger checked bag are expandable, which has been a lifesaver when bringing back extra souvenirs or clothing. Inside, the layout is practical with zippered compartments and cross straps that help keep clothes in place. A couple of things to keep in mind: like most hardside luggage, these don’t have exterior pockets, so quick-grab items need to go in a backpack or tote. Also, while the set is lightweight for hardshells, if you really pack the larger case to the brim, it can get heavy fast. Bottom line: A reliable, good-looking set that balances durability, functionality, and smooth maneuverability—excellent for frequent travelers or anyone who wants luggage that holds up well over time.

Great sets of luggage. It rolls nicely and the built in locks are great! The white does get dirty quicker but I knew that when I bought it.

Great quality. Really spacious.

For the price and name of this luggage I would have hoped the wheels would have withstood their first plane ride. Dent in the top of the suitcase as well. One of the zipper pulls has also broken off. :( I have used my $50 hard cover no name suitcase for over 10 years with zero damages and I was hoping a Samsonite would have outlasted the cheap one I used to use.
