Life saver!
This powder is amazing! Pros: Absolutely works Cons: Alot but worth it. 1. The scent is OVERPOWERING! Be careful and use like 2 surgical mask and gloves when applying anywhere. I would recommend using before bedtime. Close all room doors where you haven’t used the powder and turn on a fan and go to bed then do the rooms when you go to work or something. The smell will shimmer down after like a day. And your house will smell great after a couple of days. 2. Pets gotta go. This can kill them and YOU! If handled improperly. Have someone baby sit them or something till you throughly vacuum and wipe down and treat them as well! Do a flea bath and collars or else they’re just gonna Re infest the place, fleas love your pet the most. 3. You gotta get like 10 of these if you have a house and like 5 if you have an apartment AINT ENOUGH POWDER IN THOSE CANS! lol the powder is just half the can. shake well before. 4. May destroy your vacuum. It didn’t destroy mine but it is coated with powder throughout the vacuum. 5. May need to do two rounds of this a week apart and let sit for atleast 24 hrs because the first hit won’t kill them all at once and coat floor or carpet well and light pat in with broom NOT BRUSH Because powder will float everywhere. Put in all cracks and corners. Tip: get flea traps so when they try to escape elsewhere they’ll get lured to the trap and the light, I caught over 50 so double whammy. Not one flea has crawled on me since.

Seems to have done the job! I will purchase again
We have tried just about everything you can think of to rid ourselves of these monsters. I even have ended up doing flea baths for my 2 dogs once a week in order to try to control the fleas. They just seem bad this year. I decided to at last try this powder out. Our 2 dogs spend most of their time in our finished basement where there is rug so this is where most of the fleas have been. I decided to try out the powder and nuke the floor with it. This was 3 weeks ago. I first did a really good vacuum of the floor and then sprinkled this stuff all over till it was gone. It was not pretty as there was white powder everywhere but I figured a good dose of this should do the trick. I then left the powder for 2 weeks and did not vacuum at all. I can honestly say that it did make a difference. I don't have fleas jumping on my feet when I walk down there now which is a good thing. Also, it did not harm our dogs at all and they completely ignored the powder. I still have not vacuumed the floor down there only because I am scared to remove the powder :-) I think I will this week to see if they return. All in all, this stuff seems to have worked for the most part. I did notice that I have a few fleas in other areas of the house now. I think some of them just moved from the basement. I would say this stuff is effective if you leave it down and let it do its job. Appears to be pet safe as I said it did not bother my dogs at all. Also, there was no bad smell or anything like that from the powder. I will mostly likely purchase again as a preventative to keep the fleas away. As long as you can deal with looking at the white powder on your floor for a bit, it should do the job.

Scent too strong, instant headache, product dust everywhere.
I don’t know how to rate this. Sprinkled on carpet as directed. Powder floating in air, instant headache. Had to wear a mask to vacuum because the air from the vacuum stirred up more product dust. Took vacuum outside to blow off because sticky-feeling powder coated the entire outside of it. Couldn’t wait the full recommended 6 hours because the odor was so strong. Too hot to leave dog outside. Car ride in the A/C for an hour to allow the house to air out while running air purifiers. A lot of trouble for spotting a couple fleas. Maybe from sitting in a hot Amazon warehouse (it was delayed by a week)? I don’t know but I won’t be trying it again.

Did not work. Bad for your lungs
The lid was so flimsy that it completely broke off and dumped out a ton of powder, when I first tried to sprinkle it on the carpet. After sprinkling the powder, I used a broom to ensure that the powder was getting into the carpet, by lightly patting with the bristles (as directed in instructions). Even with the tiniest tap of the broom, the powder would come flying up into the air, making it hard to breathe. I had the good sense to wear a mask but later discovered 6 hrs later, I was still coughing. Even though it was damaging my lungs, I was so desperate to get rid of the fleas that I did a 2nd application 2 weeks later. The 1st application did nothing and I still had fleas biting at my ankles. 1 month has gone by and unfortunetly the fleas remain
