The Canvas stereo is a Direct Box/Line Isolator designed to remove any resistance between you and your audience by giving a pristine sonic foundation to build your masterpiece upon. From houses of worship to the dive bar downtown, Canvas Stereo is built to be the performance tool that goes wherever you are making your music. Canvas Stereo is a Passive Line Isolator (LI) and Direct Injection (DI) device that converts your unbalanced signals into balanced signals for interfacing properly with your recording interface or mixer at front-of-house. If you’re using an amp-in-a-box (DSP Guitar Rig), like our ACS1, keyboards, or any other instrument utilizing both left and right outputs, then the Canvas Stereo is your new bridge to the front-of-house. The Canvas Series DIs pack everything you need from a DI/LI into a standard pedal-sized enclosure designed to look great right on top of your board.

Review: This solved the problem - I have a largely digital pedalboard with a collection of Polyeffects boxes - Flat v, Trails, Ample, Verbs into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60. Background hiss makes the setup unusable over bedroom volumes. I’ve conditioned the power source, isolated all of the pedals and even tried a noise gate. Nothing worked to the point that I considered selling the lot. Then I bought this pedal. Plugged everything in, selected LI, summed, and went out XLR to the XLR in on the Power Engine. Problem completely solved. The only noise is 60 cycle hum from my single coil pickups and some buzz from the preamp side of the Flat V.

I have a largely digital pedalboard with a collection of Polyeffects boxes - Flat v, Trails, Ample, Verbs into a Tech 21 Power Engine 60. Background hiss makes the setup unusable over bedroom volumes. I’ve conditioned the power source, isolated all of the pedals and even tried a noise gate. Nothing worked to the point that I considered selling the lot. Then I bought this pedal. Plugged everything in, selected LI, summed, and went out XLR to the XLR in on the Power Engine. Problem completely solved. The only noise is 60 cycle hum from my single coil pickups and some buzz from the preamp side of the Flat V.

Great DI box for synth players. It is a stereo DI box, has a Pad button to drop a synth (line level signal) to microphone levels if needed, and a ground lift. Plus it can sum to mono if needed. Of course an XLR DI (isolated) output, but also has an unisolated audio through to route the input audio to an external device (e.g. amp, stage monitor, etc.).
