Dreamtopia Mermaid Doll with Purple Hair, Blue & Purple Ombre Tail & Headband Accessory

I'm incredibly impressed with this doll. The multicolored fantasy hair blend is gorgeous--something I'd expect more from a custom collector rather than default from the factory--and better quality than I expected. If you give it a wash and condition, the hair is incredibly soft. Her face paint is not pixilated at all and is gorgeously designed--I love the purple eyes and blue eyeshadow. Her color scheme is a great choice of colors and the ombré tail with clear fin is pretty. She's one of my favorite Barbie designs ever; I ended up getting two of her so that I could keep one as a mermaid and swap another onto a made-to-move body to have her in human form. If any fellow customizers want to do so as well, she matches the purple top Amazon Exclusive made to move doll.

When I got this doll I was expecting cheap plastic and a pixelated face since that is apparently Barbie’s brand now. I was very happy when I got her and she had a BEAUTIFUL face! I only got her for her head but even if you wanted to keep the mermaid body it is sculpted to look like she is moving, bends at the hips, and even has a cool see through tail fin. The hair is not good but if you keep it in the elastics it came in it is passable. I got her on sale for $7 and she absolutely was worth that price. Skip the fashionistas and get this doll!

She’s giftable, she’s worth the money and definitely durable. I appreciate they all (I ordered others) came in the same shipping box & their own plastic box is in-tacked. Brooklyn Looks gorgeous, but definitely disappointed to the misleading picture of the illusion her necklace would come with her and it doesn’t, unless mine is just missing?! Idk.she also had some brown thing? Molded into the it’s crown. I’ve tried washing it, but it’s molded in there good. Beyond that she’s gorgeous definitely worth getting.

I like my mermaid Barbie she is with the rest of my mermaid dolls. She is very pretty well worth the money. She’s got a very pretty face.

Just love the long full pink hair and whimsical facial expression of this doll. She is so cute and, priced at $11, was a great value. Shoulders rotate with lateral movement but no articulation in arms. Tail has articulation at hips. Body has sculpted details that are painted in a color scheme coordinating with hair color. I put her head on an articulated body with legs, and will use the mermaid body in a custom product. She arrived new in box in perfect condition - very happy with this purchase.

My 4 year old loves Ariel and mermaids in general, so I knew she'd love this mermaid Barbie. When I saw the face sculpt, I was amazed by it. Looks very different than your average Barbie face sculpt and so beautiful. I also liked the fact that this is a curvier Barbie that also makes her different. The colors are gorgeous together. We haven't put her in the water because I'm afraid she'll get ruined, but she has fun just playing with her with her other dolls. As with all Barbies these days, the hair is kinda cheap feeling and gets messy quickly. Stunning!
