Engrossing, brilliant, beautiful
I am a fan of games that combine quality story elements with imaginative puzzles and exciting game play, like Half-Life 2, Mass Effect 2, BioShock, and so on. Prey very much felt like it was in the same head space as Half-Life 2 and BioShock, Alien: Isolation, and with many similarities in character attribute leveling as BioShock (instead of "plasmids" you have to go find "neuromods") and System Shock (although not as tedious). The art and architecture of the Talos space station is stunning. Some of the only real negatives of the game for me would be that the game play requires you to return to areas you have already explored "completely". A couple of the side missions are so opaque that I had to look up the solution online (there's one where you literally aim your character into space and if you have chosen the correct heading you will find the object, if you are off a little bit, you die, and it's not at all clear how you're supposed to know). There is a mechanism in the game that converts organic material into raw elements, and you can (and should, because it's fun) use it as a weapon. Unfortunately, I used it on some characters that were plot elements, and there's no way to undo that or get that info again unless you go back to an earlier save and replay it, but by the time I figured out the people I converted into raw material were supposed to provide story clues, I had already played many missions past it. Aside from that, game play actions change the story outcome and I loved that the outcomes were very different. For instance, when you encounter other survivors they often need you to help them and the characters can either live or die based on what you do. The aliens range from easy to beat to really frustratingly difficult to beat, so it requires you to actually use your leveling abilities intelligently to combat them. I found it a little difficult to get around Talos. There is a station map you can use but it is kind of tedious to go from one side or end of the station to the other (with load times). There is a small amount of crafting to do, you build your own med kids and neuromods etc. There were a couple of levels that were either plotted bizarrely or my mind just didn't work in that direction because I had to rely on level guides and the resulting actions required were in no way logical. So just know that going in it's not an obvious game where you are funneled down a chute with no branching options. But if you stick it out, it's very worth it. I was saddened when the game finished.

Solid game play, interesting combat and fascinating environment
If you enjoyed BioShock games, Deus Ex, Dead Space, Dishonored and like to be surprised by both creepy jumps and immersive storytelling, this game delivers. There is a deep underlying sense of dread that creates a great atmosphere and the game feels deeply rooted in System Shock, for those who have played it. The skill tree is kept simple but suggests game replayability to mix things up your next playthrough (I'm not sure if you can unlock everything in the first playthrough). A great opening sequence that had my attention from the start, and the crumb trail you follow instantly becomes intriguing. You question your perceptions of what you are presented with in the game, what is real or imagined. A dreamlike feel of amnesia and dread. Hacking, various types of weapons, gimmick guns that are super fun, optional ways to traverse the environment both by stealth and means, fantastic sense of place, option to play as male/female, crafting ... I feel like everything is covered in this game without being overly complicated. The graphics felt clean, crisp and easy on the eye. I enjoyed every moment, and would recommend this game as a solid and refreshing game of it's genre. Thank you Arkane Studios! Tips - read all emails - water heals when you're in a pinch - look for alternative paths rather than the obvious - unlock hacking/lifting/repair soon - yup, enemies do respawn but not always as you may expect ;) Negatives Music feels a bit loud in the game and can go on a tad too long in "alert" mode after clearing an area No character creation for those who enjoy that

One of the best games I have ever played
I really loved this game. I thought it was super well done and the story was excellent. The only real criticism I have is that the music was just okay and sometimes characters would talk over each other so it was difficult to hear what they were saying-but those are just minor quibbles. Prey is basically an open world game set on an alien-infested space station. The decisions you make in the game really matter and it was very interesting to learn about the station and it's history. I was really engrossed with the game and was happy to play it all the way through (a lot of games get kind of boring towards the end). The creators did an excellent job of making your choices actually have a meaningful impact and the game gives you an incredible amount of freedom. Some reviewers have commented that the gameplay felt repetitive but I enjoyed it all the way through and I really liked upgrading my character. The story's ending was excellent (just make sure you keep watching after the credits!!!!!) and it tied everything up really nicely while leaving just enough up to the player's speculation. Definitely one of my favorite games of all time and worth buying (particularly at this low price).

This game a amazing. Both me and my daughter love playing it. Plenty of scares- specially when your game character gets jumped from behind. Great graphics and game play. Also, the options for game level- from the easiest to the hardest- are perfect... you can go as easy "can never die" to insanely "nobody can survive" difficult.

Recomendado.
