This product is great, I bought it for a colleague at work and now have calculator envy!It arrived on time and is big and easy to use and the buttons are great. It even has an 'off' button, which is brilliant.It came with two batteries (only one needed) two pens and a rubber and a wonderful note from the seller thanking us for our purchase and supporting a small business. What a great purchase. Big in power and reasonable in cost. Great size, ideal for home or office work. I like the advantage of dual power too. Solar and easy to fit battery. Can thoroughly recommend this item.

Decent size calculator. I bought for my husband garage and he really liked it.Easy to use and it has different functions which is very handy. Defo recommend.

I had been travelling overseas and left my previous large buttoned calculator at one of my offices prior to returning home. I was reluctant to buy just any other calculator as I wanted large buttons but with some functionality for commercial and financial quick calcs so had to shop around. The unit was reasonably priced and looked great with an emblazoned company logo on the top left of the screen and also had solar recharge capability as well as conventional 1.5v power mode which is the best of both worlds. What really made me want to make this review was the special touch that Holly and James added to the package and on receipt I was greeted by a small luxury looking gift card envelope with a small note in (like something you would put in a personal gift to a family member) and it wrote about sincere thanks for supporting them in their small business so as to compete with the bigger players in the sector. I really liked that touch and the little hand drawn picture of them both as stick people pushing a pram. I am all for browse big and buy local and in an e commerce world, this is kind of the same. I shopped around and selected a small local seller to supply what I wanted. Great value and a nice personal touch. The convenience of Amazon suits our needs as we live remotely but being able to connect with customers like Holly and James have made me feel more connected to the outside world and all it was was the simple but personal touches besides the luxurious looking large buttoned calculator. Thank you to Holly and James as well as, what I assume to be, the "little" one too. Cheers.

Estaba acostumbrado a este modelo por la composición del teclado, el tacto es cómodo, grande y bien legible igual que la pantalla. Otra cosa importante es que usa pila normal, no como otras que son tipo botón y que cuestan tanto como la calculadora.Y le doy la sexta estrella por la tarjeta de felicitación, un detalle que ha dejado de estilarse

This is an excellent, standard-size 12 digit desktop calculator! Not too small or too large. Big raised keys, with good tactile feel. It actually has an OFF button!! Apparently, that's become a rare thing. Funny thing is, the ON button is labeled AC instead of ON. It's no big thing - just a bit weird.It came with 2 alkaline AA batteries, an eraser and 2 stick pens. The pens worked for a few minutes, then both died. Hah! I don't care, 'cause that's not what I had bargained for, anyway. I've yet to use the eraser.It runs on one standard AA battery, instead of one of those blasted wafer-type ones. It works well on my rechargeable 1.2 volt NIMH AA battery. But only time will tell how long it'll last before needing to be recharged. The solar cell is VERY effective. If you have bright enough lighting, you may never need a battery at all!The display is angled nicely for easy readability. Though not lighted, it's easy to read - except under low-light conditions. That's really par for the course with LCD displays. The battery compartment is on the back, and very easy to open, without need of a screwdriver. The non-slip feet are semi-effective, but good enough for most users, I suspect.I really can't imagine anyone being dissatisfied with the Empire desk calculator.
