We absolutley love this dish set! After several months of use, the vibrant blue color and solid feel still makes a statement every time we use this for a casual dinner or a party with friends. The set is heavy and solid which we really like. The square shape suits our style for a bit of a more modern and clean look. Everything arrived well packaged and nothing was chipped or broken. This dinner set looks elegant and not cheap in any way. You should consider this as its a great value for what you get compared to other more expensive dinner sets out there. The glaze is even and professional. They came out of several dishwashings looking as good as new.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this gorgeous plate set! They are even better looking in person than the picture in the ad shows. You can fit a lot more food on the plates since they are square and they take up the same amount of room in a cabinet as round ones do. The bowls fit on the dinner plates so you can have soup and salad or a sandwich or chips and dip VERY easily. The little round sauce bowls work well with this set too on even the lunch plates. The coating is so well coated that cleanup is a breeze! They fit particularly well in the dishwasher. These are top quality. I'm so impressed. I bought more sets to have service for 12. They all fit in my cabinets very well. I chose these because of the gorgeous deep blue color which does not disappoint. By the way, I have Fibromyalgia and Carpal Tunnel and these are very easy to grip and wield. My tip: when putting a bowl on the plate, put a potholder or cloth under it to keep it from sliding and you are good to go. If any dishes break, which most did not, the seller is VERY easy to work with and more than willing to replace. What more could you ask for?

My family loves these dishes and I get compliments when I use them. They seem to be very sturdy. Very unusual food looks good in them. I love the field and they’re beautiful. They make your table beautiful too. I get compliments and the first time I served food in them. My husband commented. I love these plates not one to make that kind of comment.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We have purchased 5 boxes of these. We stored them until now and when we opened them, 2 sets were broken. I do not know how as they are packaged REALLY well. I ordered one more set and it came broken as well. Again, packed well and the boxes are not damaged so something had to have happened when they were packaged. The stoneware is beautiful and we do love what we have let but they are really expensive to keep wasting the money to buy them to come damaged. Originally I marked this as one star due to the breakage, HOWEVER, the seller sent a new box of these beautiful plates/bowls without even asking them to do so. The company is 6 star review and the product at least 10! Absolutely beautiful sets!

Beautiful dishes, however one of the bowls was broken when I opened the box. Was unable to get a replacement and did not want to send the entire set back. Would be nice if we could purchase items separately. I do like these dishes, the size and weight are very nice.

Beautiful set. Very nice quality, hearty feel and gorgeous coloring. Matches my Ramen bowls perfectly. I saw similar dishes at stores for $10 a dinner plate, kept debating on getting them and then saw them go on sale so I jumped. So glad I did. Honestly, worth full price. We'll packaged. Was worried by other reviewers that they may come damage, not a since chip. They're perfect.

I've had this reactive glaze dinnerware set for just over a year now. Our only day-to-day dinnerware so it gets used every day. We wash in a dishwasher. The finish has deteriorated over time. I emailed vancasso customer service, they responded very quickly and told me this is normal from frequent use and washing - see below. While the customer service was great - prompt reply to a couple of emails -- I would not buy this brand again. I expect the dinnerware finish to be more durable -- the glaze should last many years, not start fading during it's first year of use. "Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your concern. Please rest assured that all our dinnerware is made from food-grade materials and does not release any harmful substances. After checking, we found that two of your orders were placed over a year ago, and one order was placed more than 10 months ago. The slight discoloration you’ve noticed is likely due to the reactive glaze technique used in our products. This glaze creates unique, handcrafted patterns, but with long-term use and frequent cleaning, some surface fading or wear of the pattern may occur, which is normal and not related to safety. We truly appreciate your understanding and long-time support of our products."

I thing they are beautiful and I really wanted to replace my current dishes with them but they came in and half the dishes were broken. I was VERY disappointed!! (Also a little bit thin) Took pictures and reached out to the seller but they STILL have not responded to me. Reached out to Amazon and did a return of what was left of the dish set. REALLY thought they were beautiful but not going to risk that again. Too expensive to take chances on. 😒

Looks exactly like the picture. Quality is good and package has arrived in excellent condition, although there was some damage to the packaging, all plates were not damaged.
