Cool Design.
This is a very cool design for the 1st gen Apple Pencil. Not only does it make it more convenient to charge but it also charges really fast. It went from zero charge to a full charge in about an hour. I especially like that you can keep it on your desk as a holder so that you always know where it is, and the cap holder is a nice touch too. The additional capability to be able to charge your iPad through the same port is carefully thought out too. Overall, it is a very cool charging station that is very functional.

Perfect charger
Perfect for charging my Apple Pencil without having to plug it into my iPad (which I hate). It charges quickly.

Works great, shines bright
I really like this charging stand for my ipencil, if I had to change one thing it would be that it wouldnโt flash blue while charging. I usually charge my devices at night in my bedroom and it lights up my whole room. I usually cover it up with a shirt or a towel.

Great device!
It can be somewhat hard to find a convenient way to charge an Apple Pencil 1st generation, but this is a perfect little device to do so. The compartment to store the cap (so easy to lose!) and a convenient place to charge the pencil is a godsend. It's a great way to protect the pencil from breakage, and it actually makes a desk (if you choose to put it there) kind of look more organized. You know the saying? "A place for everything; and everything goes in its place"? This is a fantastic manifestation of such "places". It's a great value for the convenience, and if you are in the market for Apple Pencil charging solutions, I highly recommend this one if you have a windowsill or desk you can put this on.

A charger for an iPad pencil that does not require the iPad...
The iPad Pro that I have needed to have the pencil plugged into the iPad in order to charge. Which meant that the iPad could not be charged at the same time. I found this charger at Amazon and got it immediately. It travels well and keeps the pencil charged all the time. There is a USB slot for that the iPad can be plugged into the charger at the same time. There is a receptacle that holds the magnetic cap to the pencil while the pencil is charging. There is an LED light on it to indicate charging. This was a necessary item insofar as I was concerned. Seeing the pencil sticking out of the side of the IPad was weird.
