It collects litter really well but not so much that you can't get the litter off of it.It does have a crease down the middle thar I believe will go away. So really no complaints but if anything changes or the crease stays I will update my review right away!!The mat is so nice that I really want to get another color too. I used to use small rugs to stop litter, but my cat thinks they're an extension of the litter box (ew!)While this isn't the deepest mat of its kind it functions fine. The pockets under the plastic fibers work well to trap litter and prevent it from bouncing all over the floor.The biggest downside is that it does stick to the floor. I have tried it on both bamboo and marble and have had to peel it up- even after just a few hours. I ended up using a non-slip mat from an old rug underneath.
