I recently purchased the Icefox Action Camera 4K, and I'm thrilled with its performance. This camera captures stunning Ultra HD 4K video and 20MP photos, delivering high-quality images and footage. Looked like a great bit of kit until it swallowed the brand new SD card and had a fault meaning it wouldn’t come out again. Shame as otherwise seemed good quality. Amazon refunded as soon as the parcel was scanned as collected by my local evri courier and they refunded the cost of the lost SD card. Have reordered a different brand in an attempt to avoid a repeat as was one my sons christmas presents and he was a little unhappy at waiting for a replacement. Still other than the SD slot fault all looked good. Ordered a AKASO V50 X as replacement..that arrived today and is perfect…also comes with a 12 month warranty and a designated facebook support/owners group which has some handy hints and troubleshooting guides on. So all well in the end

This is an excellent camera with two batteries that last long time, the remote control is very handy to start and stop the camera. I find the touch screen and camera very easy to use. It comes with a waterproof case that is solid and great. also one of the few cameras that is a good price with 60FPS.

For the money it’s good, battery doesn’t last that long, maybe 30 minutes, but it does come with 2

I bought this camera with the intention of using it as a dash cam for my bicycle. In the area of Florida that I live, there are many bicycle accidents, and I thought this would be an important way to document the ride, and any incidents that you might encounter along the way. It does provide it very crisp and clear videos for that purpose. I’ve included a video in my review just going up and down my road and hitting speeds of up to 17 mph. The picture in the video is clear the entire way. What is really nice about this camera package is it comes with many attachments that can be configured to attach this camera to just about any object, including a mount for a bicycle. Mounting it to a helmet or a selfie stick of some type should be no problem. It has a very robust underwater case. Although the camera says the case is not needed for shallow depth, I still would recommend using the case because although the camera is waterproof, condensation, can still form on the inside of the camera due to temperature differences between the water and the surface air temperature so I would recommend using the case. I found myself using both the wrist band to snap photographs and videos as well as the Wi-Fi and camera app to take pictures. I ended up setting the camera on time lapse so that I could get three shots when I was taking pictures. There is an option to increase the number of photo bursts to 20 pictures. I actually intend to use this camera to take videos of my son’s wedding at the end of October. I should be able to mount it on a tripod and control the start and stop function from my iPhone. It is a nice small camera that should be able to be hidden, so as not to disrupt the wedding ceremony. The camera does come with two batteries which I thought was nice because if you’re using this for a video for a prolong bike ride, you will definitely need both batteries. I would recommend reading thoroughly the instructions on this camera and learning all of the options to take pictures and videos. I still have a lot of exploring to do with this.

Unas características estupendas: 4K... hasta 60 fps... EIS (estabilizador de la imagen)... pantalla táctil... segunda pantalla (frontal)... Y un montón de modos! Cámara lenta, bucle, timelapse, ráfaga, cuentra atrás... Por este precio, qué más se puede pedir. Además, encuentro la cámara más bien estética en comparación a las otras de su rango de precio. La cámara viene con una cantidad impresionante de accesorios. Además de los tropecientos soportes, llegan al punto incluir bridas de plástico y un cable metálico para asegurar la cámara al soporte... un diez! Se incluye además un mando a distancia y la batería adicional. Como dicen otros usuarios, a mí también me ha costado abrir y cerrar el compartimento de la batería. Y también creo que cuesta poner y quitar la microSD. Lo que me ha tenido un rato buscando es la pantalla frontal. Cuando recibí la cámara y ví que por defecto se encendía la pantalla trasera y que la frontal no encendía pensé que había recibido una unidad defectuosa. El manual no dice nada de esto, pero encontré un vídeo explicando cómo encender la pantalla frontal: hay que oprimir unos segundos el botón lateral M (mode/volume up). Tras unos segundos oprimiendo el botón, la pantalla trasera se apaga y al mismo tiempo la pantalla frontal se enciende. Para volver a la pantalla trasera, hay que usar el mismo botón. A tener en cuenta: la cámara parece no tener memoria interna, por lo que no funcionará sin ponerle una targeta microSD.

I picked up the Icefox i8 mainly to start recording outdoor and tool videos, and so far I’m pretty happy with it for the price. Setup was simple, and it came with a lot more accessories than I expected. The camera itself feels lightweight but not cheap, and the extra batteries are nice to have since action cameras can burn through battery life pretty quickly. Video quality looks solid in good lighting, especially outdoors. I’ve mainly been testing it around the yard and while using my string trimmer. It’s been a fun way to get POV footage without risking my phone. The menu system took a few minutes to learn, but after playing with it a bit it became pretty straightforward. I also like that transferring files is easy with the micro SD card. This probably won’t replace a high-end GoPro, but for someone wanting an affordable action camera to learn with, record outdoor projects, biking, lawn care, or everyday videos, I think it’s a solid starter option.
