Review: Good 2-1/2 Inch 45 deg coupler - This is sized the same as most 2-1/2 inch dust collection ports found on many consumer woodworking tools. Shop vac hose sizing is all over the place so it may or may not work for your application. I wanted to add a magnetic hose connection fitting to my bandsaw, but the motor was in the way. Using this coupling with rubber couplers made this doable. Coupler is compact which is nice, but as a result the 45 deg angle bend is sharp. If I had more space it would have been nice to use something with a bit of a sweep in it to not hurt air flow quite as much. Over all well made and did exactly what I wanted.

Works exactly as advertised. Connects to my Dewalt 735 Planar and 4" hose routed to my dust collector. BONUS - now I can route the hose away from the planars exit table....which is why I bought this puppy! DOUBLE BONUE - Since it is clear, I can tell immediately if there is any blockage in the planar. I will definitely buy this again when it is time to update my table saw.
