I had been looking for some type of laptop stand that would give me the flexibility and portability to use it while sitting or standing in a variety of locations. After a couple of misses, this one, for me, fits the bill. The stand is well made, lightweight yet sturdy (doesn't wobble except a little on higher pile carpets at the fully extended range, but not at an alarming level), and provides the extension I've been looking for - plus, it cost much less than other stands. The top is wide enough to fit my 15" MacBook Pro fully, though it's made of plastic (with crudely cut corners), so there's slippage (I solved this by cutting a piece of black non-adhesive grip shelf liner to lay under my laptop and haven't had a problem). I've used it on solid floors and carpeting and even placed on a stage box without issue. A few other reviewers mentioned that the top does not tilt, but mine does - and it has a weight bearing pin too for extra security when using the top extension pole. The only faults I give it are 1) the top could have been manufactured at a higher quality, and 2) I wish it had a lip on the front to brace against my laptop when I want to tilt the top a bit (or use the stand to hold notes). Other than that, this was a great purchase.

This stand is amazing — the materials are solid, it’s very sturdy when put together, and I measure it at 39 inches at its tallest, which is a lot taller than what the description says. Even at that height, it doesn’t wobble at all. I was looking for a stand for my iPad because I’ve been getting sore muscles in my neck, probably from looking down at my phone and iPad so much. So, this suits my purposes beautifully. I have it next to my bed right now, and the legs slide under the bed quite well so that I can bring the tray close to me. Sooooo, here I am and just ordered a second one. It’s light enough to carry around the house, but I’m lazy. And at under 20 bucks, it’s a steal!

I am using the stand to support a Roland Integra 7 sound module. Although this is not an intended use, I was hoping it would work out, and it works better than I could have hoped for. Then Integra weighs only 9 lbs so it is well within the weight limits. It hangs over each side by about 2 inches, but it does not create a stability problem as long as the unit is centered over the pole. Overall it is very solid and stable. A couple of comments on the reviews. Several suggest putting double sided stickie pads on to make sure whatever you were putting on the stand did not slide off. I was prepared to do this even though I hate putting that stuff on my gear. But through dumb luck protrusions on the bottom of the Integra caught The lips on the stand just right, front and back. So it is solidly in place, even tilted back. Finally, one reviewer gave it one star. One of his major complaints was that the stand was designed with not enough clearance to turn the wing nuts. This is true. His solution was smaller wing nuts,. I am terrible at putting this stuff together, but it did not take me long to figure out that all you needed to do is get the wing nut started, the tighten the bolt with a screw driver from the top.

I’m using it as a stand for a small PA mixer. Very sturdy and good quality. Quite a bargain at this price. I even ordered another one.

the PLPTS2 22.0-35.0 is a nice little tray type stand/table. Pyle has a hit, it is very easily assembled, very level and sturdy. It will work well for several electronic items, my laptop sit well and I plan to use as a projector table. It is very level, very well built and very sturdy with the tripod adjustable legs and heights. I am now looking to buy a bigger one with a bigger tray and reach higher 28.0-50.0 inches in height, as I have several options I can use this for. Excellent and I plan to purchase another one, so I can highly recommend.

Needed a lightweight yet sturdy stand to keep my Maschine MK3 (part of my home studio setup). After searching for sometime, found this one in Amazon. To be honest, I am pleasantly surprised by how beautiful this stand is, at this price point. Not only is the build quality very strong, the overall look and feel does not feel cheap at all. Assembling it was a charm, and I did not need any tools for putting it together. It took me like 10 mins max to fix it. To me, the only negative point that may have a complaint from others is that the edge of the tray is super thin, and if anything is kept at an angle, it may slide off and fall. However, for me, it actually came out as an advantage as it helped to lock my Maschine in place. Really happy and highly recommended.
