Good quality, white lead marks well on most textured surfaces , but marks poorly on very smooth surfaces.

Love having plenty of spares in my toolbox. Works great and they are pretty sturdy, but not brittle. Carpentry, stone and tile work - beats sharpening the old wooden pencils.

like that I can mark on dark wood with these white pencil refills, however, they do require going over the same spot a couple of times to make a bright enough line.

They fit the pen and haven't broke yet. Work on any wood and paper. Happy with them

These work perfectly in my construction pencil and the price is way better than the manufacturer’s.

If you do woodworking these are a must! The white seems to be the best and my husband will be ordering when these are used up. They were a very thoughtful gift and a perfect stocking stuffer for the dad who has everything!
