In my Moccamaster coffee machine making a full pot of coffee will cause coffee debris to eventually block the flow through most filters; thus water passage slows down considerably. Then you end up with over-extracted coffee. With these filters, I can make a full pot of coffee and the flow never slows down. And the coffee never ends up tasting as a bad batch made!
