How, specifically, do you attach this to a CO2 laser tube? It does not fit mine.

No offense. But if you are here, asking this question, you need to stop everything you are doing and join some CO2 laser forums before you severely injure yourself.  This product connects the electrode of your laser to the positive output of your Laser Power Supply.  There is no concern of it fitting your tube because it doesnt connect to the tube. But seriously. Go join an actual forum .

Are there any instructions for properly assembling and installing this connector?

Accepted Answer

No instructions. Easy install. Slip rubber boot on to each wire end then place one of the white shield fittings (one is male other female) on each wire. Trim shielding away from each wire end about 1/4” then install the terminal ends on the end of each wire and tighten retaining screws to hold the wire in the connector. Don’t over tighten. Screws strip easily. I got rid of the terminal connections with the cheap retaining screws and replaced them with a male and female bullet connectors. These will still fit into the assembly and is a lot better connection. Never had any issues with the way I retro fitted it and it’s better then what they send.  Hope this helps answer your question.

Are there mating connectors, that can replace those on the laser head and P.S.?

I don't know the type of you terminal. The most important thing is insulation.  if you think about RTV silicon  may arch. The voltage of P.S to Laser around 15000 to 22000. When making the electrical connection, it can be insulated with red varnish corona dope.
