Saved me $$
This save me from a $250 service call. Works great for the past 2 years. Apparently the capacitors in the AC units made in the last 10 years don't last the lifetime of the units and will go bad much quicker than the older units. I'm going to buy an extra one to have on hand.

For our Pool Heater
We needed this for the heater on our pool. Pool company wanted a fortune. This is NOT an easy fix and should NOT be attempted if you are not sure what you are doing but if you are qualified and looking for the part - this is a solid choice.

Works on my 5 ton AC unit
This was the perfect size and capacity for my Carrier Infinity 5 ton AC unit. The Carrier Infinity display was showing a thermal shutdown in the High Stage. The unit would run for 30 minutes and then stop. A few hours later it might turn on again. I could often let it cool for 30 minutes and then flip the breakers and cause it to come back on again. I limped like this for 24 hours until this capacitor arrived. It was an easy repair. The old capacitor tested bad with my multimeter and it was also visibly swollen and the top was rusted.

Capicitor works great.
Used this to replace my original that was getting low on the voltage. So far so good and saved a couple hundred bucks vs the repairman.

Hayward Swimming Pool Heat Pump Start Capacitor Replacement
I was rather disappointed when the fan on our 1 1/2 year pool heat pump stopped functioning. I had a feeling the problem would have been the start capacitor and knew it would have been an inexpensive fix if that was in fact the culprit. After spending less than 8 minutes to undo the lid and replace the part, the fan instantly turned on after I put on the breaker. I could just imagine what this would have costed with a pool tech.
