We were so happy to be able to find these. We recently had soft close hinges put on our cabinets. Some cabinets hit the wall when opened. My hubby installed these tiny resistors and they work like magic. We are very happy with the results of this product. Now, we can enjoy our cabinets with soft close and cabinets not hitting the wall after installing these little pieces of MAGIC! Don’t hesitate to buy it will Fix your problem and it only took a few minutes to install them.

These restrictor clips were a perfect match for "Chibery 50 Pack 5/8" Overlay 4D Soft Close Concealed Hinges for Face Frame Door". While I did have to remove the door from the frame to get the clip in, it fit and stayed securely. After install, the clips keep the door from opening past 90 degrees. Once the limit is reached, the hinge has a small amount of 'spring' to it, where if you pushed harder you could still go beyond 90 degrees. But this now prevents doors from hitting the adjacent wall or other cabinet. However, one door was still hitting the knob on a side cabinet and I had to add an piece of sticky felt pad on top of the clip to further restrict how far the door would open.

These little clips were easy to install and keep the cabinet doors from hitting 90-degree obstacles. I am ordering more for other cupboard door hinges. I have not had long enough to know the life span.

These did not work for me because they don't fit properly in the hinges. Mine looks very close to the product pics, but these would not fit in. Quality looks fine, and in the right hinges I imagine they would work great. Sellers of these items should be very clear about what hinges they will work in and what ones won't. It's a simple product and should wprk well in the right hinges.

We remodeled our kitchen with Lily Ann Cabinets and found that the hinges needed to be restricted so the handles didn't hit the wall, refrigerator, etc. Lily Ann sells some restrictor clips for more than $4/piece! After a bunch of research, I found that our cabinets use Berta soft close hinges, so I got the 20pk of hinge restrictors hoping they were the right fit since it's the same manufacturer and they appeared to be the same hinges as in the listing photos. They are a perfect fit - no issues installing them or issues with them staying in place, and they only cost about 50 cent a piece. I've even used these hinge restrictors on the cabinets that have roll-out shelves and the shelves are still able to fully slide out without any issue. We installed the restrictors about 4-5 months ago.

I tried installing in several hinges. Some of the restrictors went right in and worked fine. Others would not stay in the hinge and kept falling out. Replaced the with another one from the kit and it worked. Found that over half of the restrictors we're just plain poorly made and wouldn't work. I can't recommend this product. At the very least order 4 time as many as you need so that you have enough to cover the job.

It opens about 55-60 degrees and allows the doors on the corner to hit any opposing doors. If you shim it, it will function.
