There's a bit of give when I try to slide, and this one has that. Any neck holder that I've seen and used has that, except for those ones over a hundred bucks. Which is kinda ridiculous. For 20 bucks, this works great. The springs were initially super tight, but they'll soften out after a week or so depending on how much you use it.
