Very Happy To Have Found This Product
The main thing that motivated me to buy these was the price. My husband and I both tend to depend heavily on caffeine throughout the day. I'm in the process of scaling way back on our spending. Canned energy drinks, Starbucks, and coffee were one of the first things that stood out to me as excessive, and unnecessary expenses. I'm okay cutting back on caffeine, my husband... Not so much. So, I spent some time googling and found this cheap alternative to his usual canned energy drinks. The main ingredients are similar to red bull. (Caffeine, taurine, b vitamins, etc.) the calorie count is very low, and they are convenient on the go. But the main thing is the price! The price fluctuates here on Amazon by a couple dollars up or down. I paid $23, which means each drink stick costs just 43 cents! Compare that to buying a 16 oz can of red bull for $3.50, or a latte at Starbucks for $4+. Now that we've established that these are clearly WAY more affordable, the question is do they work? My experience is that they are a more effective energy boost than any of the canned energy drinks I have used (and i have tried pretty much all of them), and far better than a latte or coffee beverage. Each stick is 2 servings technically, and I started out just using a whole stick in 16 oz of water. These things work so quickly, that halfway through my drink, I've already noticed the energy boost, and don't even need to drink all of it. Now, I mix half a stick in about 10 oz water and save the other half for the next day, or before I work out (these work great as a replacement for expensive pre-workout products!) I have a pretty high tolerance for caffeine and energy supplements, so that surprised me. I used to grab a latte and a Red Bull on my way in to work, and drink both within an hour and still didn't feel as much of a jolt as the 4c provides. As for how they taste: I would compare the taste to Gatorade. There are 4 flavors, some stronger than others. The smell when you open a stick is strong, but the taste is milder. The orange is my favorite. I tend to add more water to the berry because it's a little stronger than the others. Mixed in cold water, they are just slightly fizzy, so they make a refreshing generally pleasant tasting drink. I prefer these to heavily carbonated drinks because I feel like they are easier on the stomach. So to summarize, absolutely 100% buy this product and save yourself hundreds of dollars. To make them extra convenient, I buy a case of 16 oz water bottles at Costco, keep a few chilled in the fridge, and then you can grab a water and a 4c stick on the go, and just shake it up when needed.

36 Servings for $6!
I have been drinking this for about 5 years now. I make 2, 1/2 liter drinks with one pack and drink one per day, 2 when I'm hiking or biking. Taurine is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, helps control blood acid. Since I've started drinking this and being active my blood pressure stays in normal range. Not sure if it actually helps blood pressure or not, but gave up the blood pressure medicine 4 years ago with DR's approval. I like all the flavors. It does give a little energy and keeps me from being dehydrated on hot days. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Really good for a quick pick me up
These are pretty good in the boost department. While they may not be your typical energy drink setup, they do the job. I find I like the orange flavor best, followed by the berry, and then the citrus last. One important thing when adding to a bottle of water- drink some of the water first! These are carbonated, and so you will have a little spill over if you add it to a full bottle. I actually prefer to add it to half a bottle of water for a faster kick.

Excellent drink for the price
I switched to this drink as this is one of the few no sugar drinks that doesn't contain aspartame. Splenda is the primary sweetener for this. For me it's got the right blend of flavor, sweetness and caffeine. Being in packets it's easy to carry with you and compared to the cost of pre-mixed energy drinks (monster, amp, etc) it's a great value*. I love all three flavors, citrus is what you'd expect tastes similar to original Gatorade. I was most surprised by the orange flavor, I'm not a big fan of orange flavored drinks, but this one is really good. Berry however remains my favorite, but I enjoy the others just as much. *Please note, it looks like this isn't sold by Amazon LLC anymore and the new seller's price is way more. I was paying anywhere between $14 and $18 for a 3 pack. It's now cheaper to get this from the manufacture's website.

Several flavors
I enjoy drinking iced tea all year round. These flavoring packets are easy to use, quick and easy. Add a little caffeine kick to my morning. For some reason I cannot find them in the local supermarkets any more. Nice to find them on Amazon

Cheap alternative for a pre-workout
I am 32 years old and for years have taken a commercial pre-workout to head to the gym. It got me pumped up, lots of energy, burned lots of calories, and could always pump out that last rep. After a long period of time pre-workout I started to have some negative side effects especially since one scoop would no longer do what I wanted it to so I would up the scoop until I was at around 400mg caffeine before my workout. Soon my cortisol levels were bad, I was moody all the time, and became addicted to the gym not for the workout but because of the caffeine(yes its addictive). Pre-workout also gave me the jitters and gave me a euphoric feeling I could not longer handle. I went searching for an alternative, and came across Monster Ultra Zero energy drinks before I workout. They gave me the perfect amount of energy and pump without overdoing it(160mg caffeine per can), however, the cost got to be too much. I was spending nearly $60 a month on energy drinks for working out and before work(a 8oz can of redbull @ 80mg caffeine for a moderate boost at work so I don't lag when I need to get things done). So went searching for a cheaper alternative to my caffeine needs and came across 4C. I had to do a lot of research to find out how much caffeine was is in each stick which is 80mg per serving or 160mg per stick. This is exactly what my Monster Ultra had in it and double what my redbull had in it. So after reading the reviews I bought 3 boxes of 18, which was $29(yes its cheaper at the 4C website, but I have a twisted trust in my Amazon purchasing habits). I put 16oz of water in my shaker bottle and added a stick and about 15 mins later I was ready to workout! Great clean energy, good taste, and not too much that it gave me jitters. The limit of caffeine that is safe from the FDA is now 400mg per day, so I try to cut that in half and drink about 200mg per day so I don't develop a tolerance to it and so I don't crave it all the time. On my non workout days I stick to V8 energy and just plain ol tea, and on my workout days I use one of these sticks before and no more than 2 or 3 cups of tea the rest of the day. It seems to work just perfect. Another trick to getting the most out these sticks or any caffeine beverage is to make sure you wait at least 45 mins after you eat(the caffeine seems to take predominance in your system when your body is not using energy to digest food). SO I give these 4 stars...TASTE GREAT, GIVE ME ENERGY, and the COST IS JUST RIGHT!

Can't live without it!
Gives me just the right amount of caffeine / energy without making me jittery in comparrison to other energy drinks. Also a great price in comparrison to other energy drinks. For the amount of water recommended for it to be mixed with, the taste can be somewhat diluted (some what the strength of flavored water, not as strong as a soda or juice); I suppose you could use less water, but since caffeine can dehydrate you and I dont mind the light taste, I use the amount recommended. I have packs in my office drawers and in my purse all the time, great pick me up. My friends at work have all tried it (all of us big coffee drinkers), for some it worked, for others it wasnt very effective, so the amount of caffeine needed varies from person to person.

Great thirst quencher.
Three basic citrus flavors. I use half a package to flavor the 20 ounce bottle of carbonated water from my Sodastream. Great thirst quencher without the added sugar. However, Type II diabetics like myself should always be concerned about ingredients like sucralose that, when metabolized, can add to your blood glucose levels. That being said, you can add your own sugar at a level that is individually healthy for you based on your glucometer readings. I add 1/8 teaspoon to 20 ounces, that lasts me all day, to ward off hypoglycemia. Just find out what works for you.
