**Q: Is the motor made for Saltwater?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry! Our 2-stroke 12 horsepower motor can be used in brine. But when you finish using it in salt water, you need to wash it with fresh water. I hope this can help you!

A: Thank you for your inquiry! The 12 hp motor has a displacement of 169cc. I hope this can be helpful to you.

**Q: where can you get replacement impeller or other parts?**
A: As far as I know you can order the stuff from there website but it comes with new gaskets and an impeller or mine did at least. I have the 18 hp it has been great Ive taken it out in the intercoastal waterways in central Florida, and places like headwaters, the Stickmarsh and Lake Washington. Motor has held up very well, but it is still also very new do the braking procedures that come with your manual make sure you use the right fuel to oil mixture. Mine was 25 to 1 for the break-in. Or the first tank of gas and then I believe it is a 35 to 1 gas oil mix after that, I have a 15 1/2 foot fisher johnboat, and there’s 18 horse motor pushes the boat 20 miles an hour.

Hangkai 6.5hp 4 strokes arrived in good package, no damage, fast shipping. Changed oil in motor and reductor and it started from third or second pull. Took to lake for 2 hours, no issues so far. Great quality. I do not see any difference with Tohatsu or other outboards.

### ⭐ Genuinely terrible.

We got this Hangkai 6HP 2-stroke to run a small inflatable. It turned out to be a genuinely terrible motor. After using it for about 3 hours we put it back in its box and put it up for sale. Why did *everyone* in the family simply hate this thing? Some of the reasons: it was very noisy, it smoked terribly (typical 2-stroke), it idled very poorly and was terrible at low speeds poking around the marina to visit friends. We all simply dreaded using the thing and replaced it with a 'name brand' 4-stroke which was a lot more expensive but totally worth it. The Hangkai was such a bad decision we sat around as a family one evening and tried to figure out why, exactly, we bought it. Simple: YouTubers going on and on about how great the motors are. Well, what we didn't really understand, is that those YouTubers make money when you watch one of their 'review' Tubes wherein they extol the magnificent greatness of one of these motors and you click on the buy link. Wow. Anyhow, in our experience, just spend some more and get a 'real' motor from a familiar brand complete with a real warranty.
