German Vocabulary Flash Cards (1000 Cards) QuickStudy Reference Tool (QuickStudy Academic)

These cards are perfect for someone looking to build up their vocabulary. The cards are easy to find because of how they are labeled. When you open the box you will see that each section of cards (Useful Adjectives, Clothes/Shopping, Weather, etc.) has more blue marking on the top, making it very easy to find the specific section you want to work on. You could also just arrange the cards into whatever groupings you like to study differently from how they are set up originally. I really, really like these cards.

My wife and I want to move to Germany and these are great for getting her into the language. The set is large and broken down by category. We have been going through them for a couple of days. I think if we can learn these words (they are very well chosen) we will do fine in Berlin.

1000 cards, topically arranged containing nouns (with arricles), verbs, adjectives/adverbs, & standard phrases. Covers greetings, restaurant, office-work, sports and more. Cards are also numbered and indexed at top with categories. Only things I don't like is the cards are pretty thin and flimsy and the font/print is smaller/fine, difficult to see from more than 3 feet away if you're working with a partner or need readers.

These flashcards are good for learning very basic vocabulary. These flashcards probably wont be very helpful past the very basics of German. To make these flashcards better, the adjectives cards could have the COMPARTIVE and SUPERLATIVE forms, and the verbs could have the PRESENT TENSE conjugation, PRATERITUM conjugations and PAST PERFECT conjugations, just like a dictionary entry. I feel like it is standard to study all 3 forms of the verb. It is not really useful to only learn one form of a word when there are multiple. If you are just starting to learn in middle or highschool this could be useful, but if you are learning for college or to live in the country these will not be very helpful.

Great, I especially like how the cards are organized by category and it's easy to find them in the box. Each card is numbered so I can put them back in order when I'm done. The categories are Useful Adjectives, Sports and Entertainment, Food/Restaurant, Clothes/Shopping, Bank/Money, School/Workplace, Family/People, Habitat, Body/Health, Travel/Directions, Weather, Calendar/Time, Numbers and Measurement, Colors, Basic Greetings. I also like how grammatical notes are sometimes added to clarify something. For example on the card for the word "which?" it says "welcher [sing.]". Plurals are also added which is nice. A good purchase.

I ordered these as a supplementary material to my B1/B2 German classes and they are fantastic. There's a perfect mix of both common and uncommon German words - but these are always the type of words you find yourself needing in random situations! Fantastic stuff!

Although the cards are a bit small, as well as the writing, these are convenient cards and for a great price. It allows me to have more free time to just jump right in and study instead of going through the process of creating my own cards.

Perfect anyone would learn a lot by using these cards

I just got these cards yesterday. I think they will be very helpful to test how well my other methods of learning are working. I don’t think they would be useful if this is your only method of learning German, but will be a great supplement. The cards are the size of a business card. The paper quality (as I have seen in other reviews) is not the greatest. I would call it a thick paper, when I feel these could be improved by having them be more of a heavy laminated type shiny card. Would NOT be good to just randomly throw into a pocket or bag. I suppose the benefit to this type of paper card is that you would be able to write on them, if you wanted to add your own notes or pronunciation guide. I haven’t found any errors yet, but I have not looked at all 1,000 cards!

Very handy for learning German with my son. Love the seperated sections of subjects, very helfpul and fun!
