Nicer Than Expected!
Disappointingly, of the two units I purchased, one arrived with an acrylic panel that was cracked, as if something heavy had been dropped point first onto the box. Since the damaged piece was the back panel, however, I decided that it didn't matter, and assembled my units anyway.I bought two of the 15 inch long units, planning on stacking them on top of each other. After I assembled them, I realized that I could remove the bottom board from the top unit and make them into a single, two storied unit, which worked beautifully. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on using more than one unit together. It's classy and secure! Now, first off, several people have left reviews stating that the holes in the wooden parts for the acrylic sheet tabs were too small, requiring them to widen them. I think that they failed to understand that the tightness of those holes is *intentional*. You don't want the tabs to drop in easily and rattle around. The tight fit keeps the unit more stable and secure. And it isn't difficult to get the tabs into those holes, even thought I did NOT receive the mallet that is shown in both listing and in the parts list that comes with the display case. The heel of my hand was plenty enough force to tap the pieces together, and as long as you are paying attention, and line things up so that you are only ever applying direct *downward* force without any angle to it, you really run no risk at all of "snapping off the tabs" like other people have complained.Seriously, the hardest part about this assembly was removing all of the film from all of the acrylic pieces before assembly! And they supply a tool to even help you do that!Fully assembled, the swinging doors were a little tight to close, needing me to flex the plexi a little to get them secured, but, honestly, that isn't really a complaint. That tightness keeps the doors from swinging open on their own, so I like it. My only *real* complaint is that the acrylic/plexi used is a little... soft. When loading up your case, don't let your items rub against them, because if they are made out of anything that is stronger, they will scratch the acrylic. A slightly higher quality plexi would fix that, but I think that would affect the price-point too much. The only things I would change at all about these units is that I wish the LEDs were COOL white, rather than warm, and I'll be looking into swapping them out, and I wish that for the swinging door types, that there was a hole drilled on BOTH sides so that I could choose which way the doors swing open. IF I end up completely re-doing all of the lighting in this unit, then that's a simple thing to do, by just flipping the wooden top and bottom around. That only works, though, if you don't plan on using the integrated lighting, otherwise, you're stuck with the hinge being on the left and opening from right to left.Overall, given the tightness of the fit of all the pieces when properly assembled, this unit is MUCH more sturdy and stable than I anticipated, and looks very nice. All of the included tools to help you with assembly - from white gloves, to film removal tool, to even a microfiber cleaning cloth! - really show the attention to detail for such an inexpensive piece. And the risers are better than shown in the videos, too, with extra cross-braces to make sure that your shelves don't sag!If you are on the fence about trying one of these out, then I recommend you give them a shot. They come in such a great variety of sizes, and are easy to assemble and look very nice, whether you're displaying toys, fine art, or anything in between.

Nice display case from upstanding seller
We ordered this display case for my son’s girl friend as she has a nice collection of figurines she needed a way to display and keep dust at bay. The case is simple in design but elegant. The interior lighting adds to the elegance. Compact and easily sits on her desk.Unfortunately the case arrived with a couple of the acrylic panels cracked. I contacted the seller and they quickly replied to manage the complaint. That was very encouraging to know the seller backed their product. It was not clear if the damage was caused by shipping or other.Regardless, since Amazon has a gracious return policy, we returned the item and re ordered a new one which arrived in flawless condition. Two takeaways, seller is upstanding so feel comfortable with placing orders with them!Amazons return policy encourages buying with confidence!

Doesnt seem the same as the photo or video
The plastic is not sturdy, and the doors don't fit correctly. I had four adults trying to make them fit correctly. When they discovered how much I paid, they were shocked. It isn't worth the money nor did it appear as sturdy as the photo. The doors don't have a stopper to keep them from moving inward. The sides are not attached by anything other than the top and the bottom piece of wood. If the top or bottom comes off, the complete structure will collapse. Look closely at the handles. They are just holes in the plastic. I would take it back, but it is large and a lot of trouble to assemble.

Could be better
Overall, for the look, I would give this 100%. However, the quality isn’t really that good for the price. I spent $97 with a little discount for the promotion that is going on at the moment. The total price after tax is under $100. The acrylic is flimsy. The door doesn’t fit right. And you can see in my video it is hard for you to open and close the door. I have to lift the bottom up a little bit in order for it to fit right in. The panels are about 2 mm thick is bendable and can get scratched up easily. The light is positioned at a point that it can illuminate everything inside, which is nice very aesthetically pleasing. It can hold a lot. I’m ordering the large side with 6 rows and each row will hold about 6 to 7 figures depending on how closely you want them to stand together.Assembly is easy… the instruction is useless, but you probably won’t need it to put this together. The most painful part is removing the plastic wrap. They include a little tool which I did not realize until halfway done. So learn from my mistake look for that little round thing it will help you get removed the plastic wrap so much faster.

A few bumps in the road, but they look fantastic!
There were some unfinished edges on the acrylic, such as corners that weren't rounded, but you could still tell that they were going to look great! The directions they gave with the largest size were, unfortunately, for the smallest, and did not depict the easiest way to put it together. But overall, the finished product is magical! I gotta buy two more to fit my LPS collection, but I look forward to how nice they'll look all together!!!

Tab broken
Would have loved these but the plastics glass can come with imperfections. We purchased two boxes. One was perfect, on had multiple imperfections. We received which had broken tabs, multiple scratches in the plastic window. Putting together a bit of a challenge to place tabs in wood setting without damaging. But one but together it is a wonderful display case. Just a bit disappointed on the box we received that had imperfections.

Perfect for MY needs
If you’re at all crafty this is not hard to put together. I actually found that they had included some weird roll of red tape and I use that to pull the lining from the acrylic which worked perfectly and wasn’t difficult. You really need to do this on a hard flat surface and I decided to use some E 6000 to make sure that it wasn’t going to ever come apart I was able to get it together in like 10-15 minutes and left it cure overnight. The hardest part was probably the steps but again not rocket science and once the whole things together it’s a perfect unit for display and it happens to fit like a glove into the IKEA shelves that are the squares. (I don’t know what they’re called because I got mine used)I don’t know about the light because I haven’t got that working yet but I’m sure I will! The light cover dips a little bit in the middle I’m not sure why or if that by design overall I wish these things are a little cheaper because I’d buy a bunch of them!*update: I got an extender for the light and it also works great if I could just figure out how to get it to lay flat very nice addition to the unit

Not as depicted
Pros:PriceSmall built in LED light in the top panelStraightforward assemblyCons:Stand is 100% acrylic; it does not have the wood base as shown in the pictures and instructions (attached image)Wood is rough and unfinished. I used 600 grit sandpaper and paste wax to smooth it out and add durability. It would be ideal to finish the wood before assembling. The protective covering on the acrylic is hard to get off (the round tool is a joke; easier to gently use a smooth edge / fingernail) and very roughly cut; I got shards of the covering and acrylic everywhere and it was a pain to try to vacuum up.

Perfect
Perfect display case - sturdy and easy to assemble. I am planning to buy a bigger version so that I can adequately accommodate all the 1:24 scale die cast car models that l need to display.

Very hard to assemble
Material quality is good and everything came nicely packaged. The instructions are okay. It took two people to assemble. One to hold the panels and the other to hammer them in the wooden base.. I had to hammer them so hard to fit in the slits, I though for sure they would crack. The box isn't sealed meaning there is space between the panels so if you are looking for a sealed box this is not for you. If you manage to put the box together then it looks very good on display. Will not buy again.

Display case is quite delicate and requires two people to assemble
I used the display case to display a thimble collection, the panels are sheer, not cloudy at all.The case lacks sturdiness, I would not recommend moving the case with the contents in it, the shelving is quite wobbly.
