Will blocks fit on two plates side by side?

Yes - I built my 6 year old a LEGO table, and glued all the 5 x 5 plates to a tabletop. First, I attached LEGO blocks to connect each 5 x 5, for alignment purposes. Works just fine, and my son is heavy handed, and the plates still are holding well. Good purchase for the money. Would definitely buy again!

Are these stackable (meaning can legos stick to the bottom of the plate)?

Hi, Thank you for the question. These are base plates and designed to be at the bottom of your build as the base hence be name "base plates". There are some that are called "plates" that do stack. They are however different and do not work as well for the bottom as base plates.
