Saves my worktop again and again, value for money, big enough for my needs, easy to clean, and I can put hot cups, pans and dishes on it without fear of marking my worktop. Awesome product, wish I'd purchased one years ago.

Using as a work mat for camera repairs. Lies flat on the bench, good size, grips the wooden bench top and camera parts well, soft to the touch and nice and thick so helps prevent bodies/lenses from getting damaged by a hard surface. Came rolled up in a sturdy box so no creases and useful to store it in. Works a treat for my purpose. Haven't used in the kitchen so can't comment as to its suitability in that environment.

I don't normally write product reviews, however this is such a simple yet extremely effective product that gets used daily in our kitchen. I cannot recommend this highly enough, ideal mat to protect your granite kitchen surfaces from damages, super easy to wipe clean or throw into the dishwasher and have placed hot saucepans on this with no problems. Flexible enough that you can roll this up for easy storage. This is second one I have purchased only wished they did a larger size. If you are always worried about damages to your kitchen surface from heat, stains or cuts this product is a must have!

We bought this 60x40cm 2mm silicon mat here on Amazon a few weeks ago. At the moment we use it extensively on the kitchen worktop and it has now replaced a much thinner 1mm silicon mat that we had previously bought here some time back. This new 2mm mat is far thicker than anything we have every had on the worktop previously. We bought the clear version which as a bonus also wipes off and cleans up to perfection. Its has done away with our old cork mats which we continued to use even though we had our old 60x40cm thin silicon mat there previously. An old 1mm silicon mat that we didn't trust at all especially if any hot pans were placed on it straight off the hob. Well that's all finished now. We tested this new 2mm mat and it takes anything without marking. Hot pans, frying pans were all placed straight onto this mat straight of off the hob with no problem at all. It gave us the confidence to use this mat without the necessity of using our cork mats any longer. So why only 4 star's ?? Well the reason for that is that this mat is a 'slider' even though its clearly advertised as non-slip. A statement which I don't agree with at all. We have found that it does have a tendency to move around whereupon the old thinner but now discarded mat that we had stayed put. Only a small moan as its still a good buy but if it had a shiny surface on one side it would probably 'stick' and stay where placed on the counter top. Anyway its not a huge problem but its certainly becoming an ever increasing irritant. Reminds us of something that has had talcum powder or baking flour rubbed all over it. Sticks to nothing from then on. That said its still a very good silicon mat that's taken all that we have thrown at it and we are still relatively pleased with its purchase. If only it didn't slide about !! ... especially when you are trying to wipe it down ! At least when it was delivered the mat arrived in a roll and without any creases. ALL IMHO of course.

Excellent for protecting kitchen surfaces from heat and damage. Easy to store and clean.

Large size and good quality.

Recently had a kitchen refit and warned that the stone worktops might not cope with a hot pan being placed on them. As my wife scorched the previous surface didn’t want to take the risk. A pleasingly thick silicone sheet, which unrolled easily and shows no signs of coiling back up. It’s not transparent but the translucency allows the pattern of the largely white surface to show through and it is not visually intrusive (might not be so good with a darker worktop, though black and grey are available). I needed to trim it to fit snugly against the job, and this was easy with a craft knife and a straight metal edge. Don’t try scissors as you will get a stepped edge. It’s thick enough to protect against heat and knocks, provides enough grip that a mixer doesn’t dance about and will resist gentle cutting, but not a chopping board. Cleans up easily with a cloth. Works well and protects against what could be very expensive damage so good value. Happy to recommend, I’ve bought another one to protect another area.

These mats are heatproof and waterproof, and look good in my new kitchen. I think they will protect my worktops well.

Ik had deze gekocht om de ondergrond te beschermen tegen hitte van mijn kookplaatje. Bij het bakken van pannenkoeken was de mat bol gaan staan en zat tegen het verwarmingselement van mijn kookplaatje aan, dus daar is deze mat niet geschikt voor

mooie en degelijke mat maar bovenaan is het ook antislip en is enkel te reinigen met vochtige doek
