Meeting Muhammad

After I got this book I wanted to marry Sheikh. I’m so jealous he’s so good. I have read couple of his other books but my, my he nailed this one good. At first I thought oh it’ll be a small few pages long book but when I saw the thickness of it I was like wow - this book is full of content. It’s so nice to touch. It’s so nice to look at it. It’s beautiful. Then you open the first page and it’s like you have stepped into Rawda Shareef. The green covering on the inside is so elegant. And I love the choice of using green words and green color to write this book! Of course, that’s the Prophet’s color. So you take about half an hour just admiring the book. The letters, the organization, the calligraphy. It’s so beautiful. I showed it to my siblings and friends and all their reaction is wow. So even if people are not interested in reading it they cannot deny the beauty of this book. Then I started reading the book. And honestly, after every sentence I had to pause. There was value, substance, gravity in all the sentences. It goes through you and really sinks into your soul. The author is not joking around but is actually engaging the reader into listening to what he has written. The content is so beneficial and with so much clarity that when you’re done reading one chapter you’re like I did not know this and you feel grateful within for the author to enlighten you with this knowledge. Although it’s very easy to read you really have to pause after a chapter because of the amount of enlightenment from one section. And it’s so beautifully explained you will just fall in love with the author. It feeds your soul. And even if you don’t know the author you would be asking ‘who is he?’ And if you’re looking for a book to give to your non-Muslim friends to learn more about our Prophet (saw) then I would definitely recommend this one. Plus point is it’s not even that costly. So just buy it even if you won’t read it. At the very least it will look good in your house. All in all just an amazing book. I can’t stop gushing about it. Too bad Sheikh Omar Suleiman is not single but thanks anyways.

Well written, easy to understand and engage with

Excellent, beautifully printed, and securely bound, this biography shows how Muhammad lived his life in a variety of situations and relationships. It's all based on Qur'an and historically preserved traditions. Insightful and informative.

I live in the Dallas, Texas area and have had the opportunity to meet Omar Suleiman a few times and I saw this book so I thought to show support. Alhamdulillah, it is well written, easy to grasp, engaging, and a keeper. I love Muhammed PBUH. JazakAllah Khair my brother Omar.

I loved this book, truly beautiful! Not a reader, but completed it in a couple of weeks or so. I felt prophet Muhammad's presence and character while reading it. It was a good self reflection book to remind me of how uphold myself as a Muslim.

I love this book, it genuinely made me understand the basics of our beloved Prophet Peace be upon him. The author of this book wrote it in a way that it is easy to understand, some chapters really made me realize a lot of stuff! If you're thinking about buying the book don't even hesitate goo for it!!

I like books like this that you can dip into when you feel the need for something soothing or uplifting, that centres you when you feel a bit lost, sad or tired. You don't have to read it from start to end. Choose any chapter that attracts you at any given moment. Also, it's a book that you can read again and again, and each time, it will give you differently.
