**Q: Will this work to upgrade my neato botvac D series to work over wifi?**
A: no. this doesn't have wifi and it is not compatible with older D series.

**Q: I used this board to replace a board on my neato d4, in which the wifi stopped working.  it still doesn't work.  is the new board bad?**
A: you are having the exact same problem as before? with the new board?  if so, I would guess it is something else.

**Q: Is this compatible with the D5 as well, or just the D3?**
A: I think it will work and the only difference I can find is that the D3 does not have a side brush and the D5 does.  so if you switched to this board, you would lose your side brush.
