Review: Good safety item for climbing, Solid and functional - This is a well-made climbing equipment that played a huge role in my last climb. If I use ATC when I grab the rope in panic, I wouldn't be here to tell you this story. It will allow for a proper rappel descent by applying more or less pressure to the handle, neither completely depressing nor completely releasing the handle that will only make you immobile. We all make mistakes, but in climbing a mistake can be deadly. This is an extra barrier of safety, recommend.

I love this thing. Easy to carry, attach, and SAFE! Attach your biner, thread the line per the diagram on the device, ASSURE IT IS CORRECT, test it on the ground before stepping off the ledge! The lever should totally control your descent. Fast/slow. That's it! Ron
