My best friend passed away and was in the middle of restoring his dream car a 66 Cutlass convertible but passed before he finished. But he had a model car of the same year as his dream car so as tribute to him I am building the model the same way he wanted his dream car to look. Using the same exact paint as the car was going to be. This highlights the chrome parts perfectly. Even the parts that are molded into the body of the car that are supposed to be chrome. The different size tips make it easier to cover all the small details. You just have to go slow and steady. I will be adding a picture when the model is done so you can judge for yourself. I would highly recommend this product if you are doing any kind of modeling or craft, and the price was reasonable. If I need anything more like this I will be coming back to this company.

I have not written a review before, if it's a poor product, I don't order from the company again. These pens are just as described....... First time ordering a pen, researched many for awhile then decided on these pens. Honestly...I thought for sure I wouldn't order again. Well....I have placed another order. I'm amazed how they look exactly like chrome once try,no streaking or overruns, fills in scratches(just add a little more in the area). What you should do for perfect application is push on the pen on the item you are chroming. To get the pen started I push the tip down on a piece of cardboard, wipe the end of tip off then applied. Never do this on the item. There is a short window where you can stop then restart due to the pen tip possibly picking up dust or debri or you want a heavier application in that area. Most of the time it's not the pen being defective. Best Wishes folks!

To my surprise they performed pretty well. I have a few after market emblems that have shed their chrome completely to just a little. The ones where their chrome was completely gone, these worked perfectly! The ones that had some chrome still left, they still worked but you had to be really diligent. The more chrome that was left the more difficult it was to work with. I was also pleased with the chrome look of these paint pens.

I bought these to use with 1/24 model car building and they are amazing. I like that it comes in three different tip sizes. The biggest one is just like a normal paint marker and can be used on something like a whole exhaust system. The smallest one is nice for engine details and random things here and there. I am still amazed at how shiny and reflective the surfaces are after using these. You do want to let them dry for a few hours before touching them or you could leave prints.
