These probiotics are magnificent! I noticed a difference from the moment I started taking them. They're very good.

I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat meat (which can create digestion problems) and I rarely eat milk or cheese (which can also cause problems). But I noticed a few months ago that I was having painful cramping at night. It was my body digesting food, but it felt like razor blades going though my guts. I would also, on occasion, have painful bloating and gas. I was about to simply get used to it, but it hit me that most people don't have this problem and that I hadn't always experienced it either. I looked into it and found that some foods are harder for the body to digest, but stress can also be an issue. I eat pretty well and exercise, do yoga, and meditate, so I decided to take a probiotic. I took Nature Made at first, which was good, but this product replicates the bacteria in your system already. Plus it helps to create more bacteria for you. This helps so that if you miss a day your body won't revert to bad digestion. With the other brands, you have to take it every day. I also appreciate the vegetable capsule. So many of the other quality probiotics use gel caps, which I don't use since they are made from animal products. Another reviewer wondered about the storing of this product. I talked to a person at Sprouts, the grocery store where I bought this, and she told me that the door of my fridge was best. I've been doing that and have had no problems. I'd recommend this for people who have problems with digestion--pain, gas, bloating, etc. I don't have those problems now. And the price here on Amazon is great.

My baby was put on antibiotics immediately after birth for an infection he got from my prolonged labor. He was EXTREMELY colicky and had terrible gas pains. I read some research on the benefits of probiotics for these kinds of situations. After doing some research, I decided to mix one capsule with a little bit of breastmilk and give to my son daily. This, in addition to a daily dose of a small amount of fennel tea has reduced his colic by 95%! I highly recommend this, as it is a cheaper way to give your infant a larger amount of probiotics than buying infant specific. It could just be a coincidence but I just don't think so! I also like that there is no extra sugar added bologna ( like FOS). I had used this brand of probiotics for a terrible bout of C Difficile I had a few years back that landed me in the hospital. I used the "critical care" product and never had a recurrence of the C Diff. I trust this brand and it is also highly recommended by the proprietor of our local natural health foods store. If the product is not working for you consider first that the shipping process may have killed the live bacteria. The box states it should be kept in temps less than 74 degrees. I understand though that the product might not be for everyone.

I have had various stomach/digestive related issues since my teenage years (IBS, lactose intolerance. Most of the time i'm constipated and i've never been regular. Also tons of gas from no particular thing i've eaten). Over the years I have located a few trigger foods/drinks which cause me various pains and discomfort and have avoided them, but it's never fully improved my regularity or gas or general "yucky" feeling. In the past 3 years my heath has also taken a random decline, which for my age is really unusual (I believe this to be closeted thyroid issues which i'm working on with my doctor right now now), and I was recently diagnosed w/a severe vitamin d deficiency which I am being treated for as well. I am not one for waiting; 3 years is a very long time to suffer with the laundry list of symptoms i've been accumulating as time passes, and I figured there had to be something that I could do to get my health jump started again. So online I went to do research. One easy first step a lot of "health gurus" and bloggers recommend is starting a probiotic so I figured, why not. If they help, yay. If not, then at least I tried. This brand came highly recommended on various health related blogs and websites, but I think what really pushed me into purchasing were the reviews here on Amazon (sidenote, thank you to all that have reviewed!) I have been taking these for about 3 months now and in the last month I also decided to go gluten free (I believe I am intolerant, this will be discussed at my next doc appt). The first 2-3 weeks on the probiotics were hard; I had gas all the time and it was BAD lol but after that calmed down, I have been more regular than I ever have been (not daily still, but more frequent than before.) I don't have crazy stomach pains, much less gas (or it's odorless, believe it or not). I'm not bloated anymore. I feel "lighter", in some sense. I have had some improvements in other areas of my health as well, but since i made a few changes at once i'm not sure which one to give credit (so I wont list them here because I do not want to give false information). Really, I just feel better, and haven't felt this well in a long time. So, placebo effect? Maybe. But I don't care, i'll continue to take these as long as I feel well and I really do feel a little better and better every day. I recommend them to everyone. They aren't too big, they are easy to swallow. I keep them in the fridge on the door and take one every morning before breakfast.

The items came in a soft envelop and the contents were badly squashed. I'm not sure whether the capsules inside aluminium foil cards which were also slightly dented would be damaged or adversely affected in quality. Then I was shocked to see that the both boxes expires in 3 months' time. I bought 2 boxes containing a total of 120 capsules. With dosage of one capsule per day, this supply should last 4 months but the product would have expired before I could consume the entire supply and I have to discard 30 days' worth of capsules. I want to return one box for replacement to a later expiry date. Alternatively please provide me a refund for one box.
