Before treatment, I'd see a good arc of damp, after rain, extending 2 to 3 feet up the wall. You can see now that in a short space of time, the product has deflected the damp so that only a small patch appears well below the line of mortar below floor level. I chose to insert from the outside since we have a 9 inch wall... no cavity... and all interior walls are dry lined anyway. I'm frankly amazed at how quickly the dryrod has worked.
