As fresh as you'll get without purchasing from the produce section.
Great product. Artichokes come neatly stacked in can. There is no metallic or overwhelming vinegar taste to them. They are clean- all fibers are removed. Have used for artichoke/spinach dips, pasta sauces, pizzas salads, veggie burgers, anti pastas- and yes... straight out of the can! They have a true artichoke flavor- which is really nice when you're looking to make artichoke based recipes. They are still quite firm, and so you're able to further cook them without ending up with a soggy overcooked product. Happy to add to reorder list- highly recommend!

Dented cans
Had to throw 2 cans away as they were dented so badly that they were leaking liquid. Took a chance and ordered more as I love the taste. Will I be getting a credit on the cans I had to throw away?

Great quality
The artichokes are tender . perfect for salads but I love to add them pizza with diced eggplant, yum.

If I could give it less than one star I would. It was awful. Ate some, threw the rest of the cans in the trash. Worthless.

Our favs. Overpriced here.
We buy these for the convenience but they are pretty expensive. Reliably a good brand. Awesome on pizza. We chop 'em smaller though since these are quartered. Once in a while you get some stiffer petals that are a little woody but I notice that in a number of brands.

BEWARE: ( •̀_•́ ) You Get Items from the 'Dented Cans Bins' of Peru
The 6-pack of cans came shrink wrapped inside an undamaged box. Half of the cans were dented. Pictured are the two worst. Obviously, the cans were damaged before being boxed! I question these damaged can's ability to prevent biologicals from entering before the 2027 Expire Date.!

Great artichokes.
This did the trick for a delicious vegan, paleo spinach artichoke dip. Came in a set of six with no dents or spills. Perfect for what I needed.
